There was a time when the fearsome1, beautiful land of alagalsia was ruled by men astride2

mighty dragons. To protect and serve was their mission. And for thousand of years, the people

prospered. But the riders grew arrogant3 and began to fight among themselves, for power.

Sensing4 their weakness a young rider named Galbatorix betrayed them killed them all riders and

Dragons alike. Since, then our land has been ruled by Galbatorix. He crushed all rebellion5

including the survived fled to the mountains. There they hoped for a miracle, that might even

their adds against the king. Our story begins one night as Arya an ally6 of the Varden, riders for

life, carrying a stone… stolen from the king himself.

I suffer without my stone.

Do not prolog7 my suffering.

Miles away a young boy ventures8 out hunting. His life and Alagalsia will never be the same

again.

wave of blue explodes from the arrow and kills all the other Urgal’s, but passes through Eragon.

Eragon close his eyes and at the moment Saphira comes.

Brom

My head. Feels like I've been kicked by a horse.

two raz’ac. One raz’ac walks over to brom and drags him a few feet in front of Eragon. The raz’ac

pulls Brom’s head back and holds a dagger to his throat. Just, then an arrow flies out of nowhever

and strikes the raz’ac in the shoulder. Brom stands up and stumbles toward Eragon.

Saphira

With pleasure.

Brom sees to them.

BromCome on. Come on.

Eragon, stay out of this.

Saphira

Saphira

One raz’ac was died by Brom. Saphira pain’s the wings.

Brom

Brom

So I set out to search for Morzan, And I found him. I took his sword

and I drove it through his heart. And as he died, so did his dragon. the last, except for the king's.

So I hid out in Carvahall.. ...with a shame... ...I rightly deserved. Because of me, the days of the

Dragon Riders were over. Then you came. You both came.

Saphira(v.o)

And now the days of the riders

have come again.

Durza sits on the chair and open the book.

Durza

Bring me the boy, I said. Bring me his blood... I said. But you...you bring me nothing.

Durza kills one Raz’ac.

Durza

Durza enters Arya’s room.

Durza

At the moment Eragon sees the dream. Arya
