MAKE AN ACADEMIC ADVISING APPOINTMENT2


From eSMS Student home screen, select Book to schedule with your major advisor

MAJOR ADVISING All OTHER ADVISING: General College, Student Services, Major/Minor Exploration

Choose appointment date & time

From eSMS Student home screen, select Appointments Tab, and then Add Appointment

Select Appointment Type


3 ADD YOURSELF TO THE DROP-IN QUEUE Many CALS services offer drop-in queues during the semester: college general advisors, majors advisors, career center, and student services. When any drop-in queue is open, you’ll see this green box:

Choose Service, Subject, and Reason

1. You’re in the Queue: Confirmation of your spot in line;

2. Appointment Scheduled: A second email sent when an advisor is ready to assist you, including advisor name and Zoom link.


Select Add Yourself to a Queue Success! Once you’re in a drop-in queue you’ll receive two emails:

Select CALS Students, Appointment Type and Search
