The Ethiopia Cash Working Group (ECWG) was re-established in April 2016 “to strengthen the policy develop-ment and operations of cash based interventions (CBIs) in Ethiopia through advocacy, improved coordination and information sharing”. Membership is composed of over 20 humanitarian agencies, organizations, donors and government representatives. This snapshot provides an overview of former and ongoing cash program-

ming since January 2017 in humanitarian response in Ethiopia. It reflects data received from 18 agencies and organizations. Other cash-based programming such as micro-credit is not included.
