2013 VOL 2 KEEPING YOU IN THE LOOP FREE
Well I hope you didn’t miss it.... Being able to inspire is personally fulfilling, being able to grant our students “the
best day ever!” quote unquote is thrilling.
ETI_In Clinic presented the Guy Sebastian Rhythm Section on 27 April
2013. It was once again a fantastic opportunity for students to meet and learn from the worlds best musicians.
Terepai Richmond (my own inspiration),
Sam Vincent and Adam (Ace) Ventura allowed ETI students into their world for the day.
The guys were so generous in sharing their time, knowledge and skills with the crowd. Everyone there was thrilled to be a part of an inspirational day and
thanks to ETI connections I was also able to introduce four members of the ETI family to Guy Sebastian himself.
Go online or on ETI_Facebook to see the videos and photos from the day.
Lots more happening throughout this
month and next, check it out!
Kindest Regards
Pete Barter CEO/Founder

ETI MID YEAR CONCERT
11 JULY 2013 @ NSS
Beyond EducationSchool Hols at StarPlex and NSS
In the School Holidays ETI put on events across various venues. At NSS ETI were
involved in the SLAM Youth Week and provided free and impromptu coaching in drums, bass and uke to eager kids young and old.
At StarPlex in Gawler ETI ran a workshop for a large group of students who for 2 hours learnt singing, ukelele and
percussion. The fantastic group showed amazing talent and abilities that were developed throughout the program.
ETI can also run programs for OSHC and YMCAs. If your local community or school would like to host ETI during the school holidays please give ETI a call on
1800 384 583.
AT ETI WE GO BEYOND MUSIC EDUCATION TO OFFER UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP YOU
CREATE YOUR DREAM!
Muso’s JamTwo of ETI’s talent students and three of ETI’s equally talented educators
performed at the Rat and Parrot, Findon at the Muso’s Jam. Surrounded by professional musicians waiting their turn,
Corey Clarke and Mel T showed them what ETI students are made of. Backed by Educators Dave, Meagan and Pete ETI proved ETI is the place to be!
On the RadioMake sure that you keep an eye on the facebook page for details of ETI_Radio. ETI continue to have a presence on radio
which enables us to play the recordings of our students. The station staff and listeners had the privilege of listening to
our awesome “GangStars” version of “Waiting on the World to Change”. Proudly supporting PBAFM and the local community.
At ETI we work hard to ensure opportunities are varied and
appeal to and inspire our diverse
student base.
ETI_STUDENT PROFILE, MEL
TREGEAGLE
Having a great singing voice is one thing, but having the desire and drive to be successful is quite another. Thankfully Mel T has both. This promising pop star of the future is already performing in front of audiences with live bands and has recorded her own EP.
Mel T is very proudly supported by her family. Mum, Dad, brother Jake (also a keen drummer and ETI student) and Nanna are regular faces at ETI_Events.
ETI_EDUCATOR PROFILE, DAVE
KITTERRINGHAM
Dave is the newest addition to the ETI Educator Family and we’re thrilled to have him.
An accomplished musician with over 20 years experience. Dave is a professional musician and has toured as a regular member of various bands.
He plays bass primarily but is wickedly talented at the guitar and trombone., teaching in all three.
Hailing from Gawler, Mel’s family travels every week to NSS to ensure Mel has the best in vocal coaching. Mel T has been an ETI vocal student for 2 years and has made the most of every opportunity. It is obvious that this young music lover is destine for great things. Nothing will stop this girl, not even a snake in her school uniform! Ask her about that next time you see her!
Pete Barter, CEO/Founder
As a touring and session musician Dave has played with many greats of the Australian music world. People like Tommy Emmanuelle and James Morrison have been privileged to have Dave play in their bands.
When he’s not playing a myriad of instruments or hobnobbing with fabulous Australian musos he is hanging out with his sweet little boy Tyler or studying martial arts. So students make sure you do your homework when asked because Dave is a Power Ranger! Well according to Tyler anyway :)
“He has made himself a home already at ETI and I’m grateful to have him here!”
Pete Barter, CEO/Founder
“I wish I had a record label because I’d sign this girl right now!”
