INTRODUCTIONMy name is Deshaune Kirnon I am

studying AS level media where I am producing a film opening 2 miutes which shall be finished in january.

Preliminary Task I worked with Koffi and Rahul to produce

a short film opening. The brief was to complete a opening for a film in school, where a character (Koffi) had to open a door, crossing a room and sit down opposite another character (Rahul) where they would exchange a few dialougues.

Match on action A cut which splices two different views of

the same action together at the same time in the movement, making it seemed uninterrupted.

Shot reverse shot Two or more shots edited together that

alternate characters, for example in a convesation.

180 degree rule 180 rule dictates that the camera should

stay in one of the area on either side of the axis of action.

Evaluation I demonstrated a variety of camera shots,

the type of camera shots I used was a medium shot which is demonstrated in the picture below.

I used a long reverse shot shown in the image below which makes it look like he is walking towards the audience.

I then used a medium shot to show the audience that he is turning the corner. This allows the audience to concentrate on the scene and not be confused on what's going on.

I did a medium shot showing the audience that he is going to sit down, this leaves the audience wondering what is going on.

I use a title which reveals the actors in the movie opening I also do a two people shot which show both actors sitting down.

Then I used a over the shoulder shot, this creates the feel that the audience are listening in on the what they are saying.

I then did a 180 degree angle which makes it seem like a normal chat between the characters.

I then added in a black screen which shows the audience who directed the film and who filmed it.
