WHAT HAVE YOUR LEARNED FROM THE AUDIENCE FEEDBACK

Page 2: Evaluation: Part 3

We found our audience feedback very helpful as we needed their feedback to produce our film to a higher standard and we see the audience as an important part of producing our film as they are the people who we want to enjoy it

So we showed our music video to a group of random people all within our target audience and then asked them to give us there feedback on what they thought was good about the video and what they thought could have been improved on

You tube feedback

We also received feedback frim YouTube. We had mixed reviews. Some of them were positive and some of them were negative. This shows us that every person has a different opinion about this music video. We found that asking for feedback from our audience about the weaknesses of our film helped us a lot as we learned what needed to be changed to suit our audience, as our audience said they weren’t clear about a main point in our film we knew that this was something that definitely needed to be made clearer and learned that getting feedback on this point was important as if this was not clear it may confuse future audiences.

• I feel that through the process of receiving feedback on my music video I have learned a lot about how to make videos in the future. The main thing that I have learned is that when planning for the video, in your head you know what you want your video to look like and what kind of techniques you will use to achieve this look, but what you need to think about is how the audience will read the media text and how will they understand it
