1) Show evidence of product (Screenshot or Image):- Animation Video:
The image above shows a screenshot of my animation video,
which I wasnt able to do, because I didnt have time to create the
animation, since I faced many problems and it was very hard to
solve these problems, especially due to the fact that the online
tutorials were very little and werent very helpful, and so, above is
an image of my city in the background, a sky, and a future
transportation method, the flying car.

The images above show my website that I created for the project, whichhas important information, such as important images and videos
connected to the project, general and specific problems, and more.
Evaluate the Product:
- Discuss how well this product solves the problem:- If we are talking about the animation video, it is very
ineffective towards solving the problem, and maybe doesnt even
help solve the problem in any way, and this is because it was of a
poor quality, since I was only able to submit an image of myanimation video, and I couldnt create the full animation video in
time, just like the rest of my classmates, because the program
was hard to use, we faced a lot of difficulties that we didnt
have solutions to, because the online tutorials didnt help us
that much, since they werent a lot, and so, we wasted a lot of
time just trying to fix and solve small problems, which held us
back from creating the animation video in time. If I were to
show this image to someone who finds it difficult to visualize
and imagine how transportation methods will be and look like inthe future, this image wouldnt help them become more
-

10D
imaginative towards this issue and wouldnt allow them to start
visualizing all the various future transportation methods and
how they will look like, because it is just an image of a flying
car, and so, the result would be that they still will find it
difficult to visualize and imagine future transportationmethods, causing them to ignore the issue and not care about it,
and so, transportation methods will remain the same, and the
world will not develop. But, if I were to show them a full
animated video that shows and expresses various future
transportation methods, they will start looking at these
transportation methods and they will care about them more, and
so, this will allow them to think about the issue more and
imagine more various and different future transportation
methods, because they were attracted to the animation video, resulting in them taking action towards improving transportation
methods, to solve problems such as traffic, pollution, and more.
As for the website, I believe that it was of a high quality and it
included important information that would allow my audience to
understand the aim of the project, which would help them
understand the important of the project and the animation
video. This important information includes the general and
specific problems, the images used in the project, in addition to
the videos used in the project. So, the website is the placewhere the audience know more about the project, but the
website doesnt necessarily make it easier for people to image
how future transportation methods will be like, since its not
supposed to do so, but the animation video is. As for the social
media pages, they are of good quality, since they do have
comments that I posted, also in English and Arabic, they have
profile images, they have names which relate to the name of the
project, and they link to the website and the other social media
page, but, they werent shared and they dont have any followers
or viewers or supporters, except one person on the FaceBook,
which means that they dont really serve their purpose of
allowing the supporters of the project to communicate on them,
because there are no supporters. Once again, they are not
meant or created to solve the problem and allow the audience to
visualize how the future transportation methods will be like, but
they are just created for the audience of the project to
communicate about the project, on them, and so, they are of
good quality, but they are not meant to solve the problem.

- Based on your test results, does it meet the designspecifications you wrote in your investigation?
- If we look at the testing results for the animation video designspecifications, you can see that I was able to achieve only 3
design specifications out of the 7, which were about the
animation video being created on Bryce 7.1 Pro, making the
animation video completely about future transportation
methods, and making the final product clear and easy-to-
understand (for the last two design specifications mentioned
above, I didnt have a full animation, but the product that I
created at the end, the image, was completely about future
transportation methods, and nothing else, in addition to that
the image was clear and easy-to-understand, based on my
testing results that I got from my audience, and so, for these
two design specifications, the final image that I created as a
product is supposed to be equivalent to the animation video). I
was unable of accomplishing four design specifications for the
animation video, which were about having the website URL and
the social media pages URLs on the end of the animation video,
having the animation video on YouTube, and having a clear and
easy-to-understand narration over the scenes in the animation
video. So, the final testing results for the animation video are
very bad, and this is because, as I mentioned before, I wasnt
able of making a full animation video in time, just like the rest
of my classmates, because we faced a lot of conflicts and
problems when using Bryce, because we didnt know how to use
the program, and the online tutorials didnt help that much, because they were very old and there werent a lot of them, and

so, we had to waste a lot of time just trying to solve problems
with Bryce, and so, none of us were able to complete the
animation video in time, and this is why I wasnt able to finish
most of the animation video design specifications. As for the
testing results for the design specifications of the website, Iwas able to achieve all 8 of them. One of them, though, is about
uploading the animation video onto the website, which I said
that I did achieve, and that is because despite the fact that I
couldnt create an animation video, I still uploaded my final
product onto the website, which was the image of the flying car
animation, and so, I wrote that I did achieve it, because the
focus on this design specification is not on making the video or
not, but is about uploading whatever I made onto the website,
and so, I believe that I did achieve that. As for the designspecifications for the social media pages, I was able to meet 7
of them, out of 8. The only one that I didnt meet was the one
about each social media page linking the animation video, which
should be on YouTube, and as I mentioned, I couldnt achieve
that because I didnt create an animation video in the first
place, because I didnt have time to. All the other 7 design
specifications were met and achieved, and so, I was able to
achieve the majority of my social media design specifications.
So, overall, I was able to accomplish most design specifications, but the most design specifications that I wasnt able to
complete were the animation video design specifications,
because I didnt have time to create an animation video. (FOR
THE TESTING RESULTS DONE BY AUDIENCE RATING, I
WAS ABLE TO MEET THEM BASED ON WHAT I
MENTIONED IN MY DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS. EG: IF 5
OUT OF 7 PEOPLE RATE IT AS A 4 OR A 5, THAT
MEANS THAT I WAS ABLE TO MEET IT).
- How Could the Final Product be Improved:- Next time, I need to actually make sure that I would finish and
be able to have a full, complete product, unlike the incomplete
animation video that I created for this project.
- If you look at the final image of the flying car that I created asa product, you can see that the city has a weird texture that
looks unnatural and unrealistic, which is where you can see
random grey parts in the buildings of the city, as if the city has
been demolished or destroyed and its insides are showing, which

are about, in addition to explaining how they relate to graphics,
telling a story, of a future vision, which will be shared, for a
purpose. I also had a full, annotated, and alphabetically organized
bibliography that mentioned all research sources. I also had design
specifications for each of the products that I will create, theanimation, the website, and the social media pages, and each of the
design specifications were written, along with their purpose and
testing method. So, I believe that I did great in the Investigation
and did all of what was required from us.
- Design:For my design stage, I didnt do well in it, which is why I got a 3.
For the design stage, we were supposed to create 2 designs for
the animation video, which would show a story and explain it, 2designs for the social media pages, and 2 designs for the
website. In addition, we needed to talk about the details of the
designs, such as the purpose of the design, the duration of the
animation video, the components of the design, and the use of
the design, in addition to talking about which design
specifications are met through the design you drew.
Afterwards, we need to analyze the design, by talking about 3
positive and 2 negative things in the design, and possible ways
of improving the negative points, and at the end, we need tochoose which design we want to execute, and why we chose it.
And then, when we upload our work on Moodle, we need to use a
third design, created by another student, and analyze it, by
stating the good and the bad, and how the bad can be improved.
Unfortunately, I wasnt able to do all of this, because I didnt
have a lot of time. So, I was able to create 1 design for the
animation video, 1 design for the website, and 1 for each of the
social media pages, in addition to talking about the purpose,
duration, use, and components of each of these designs, in
addition to writing about which design specifications were met
in these designs, and which werent. I wasnt able to do anything
with the analyzing portion, and I wasnt able to choose my final
design, because I didnt make a second one at all, but I just had
one design for each of the products. So, as you can see, many
parts of the Design Stage were missing, but I tried my best,
and I got a grade that matched the amount of work submitted,
a 3.

- Plan:I was able to improve a little bit in the Plan, and I felt that I did
much better in the Plan than in the Design. I finished all the parts
necessary for the Plan Stage, but some parts were not of the best
quality. Firstly, I was able to include all the hardware and softwaretools needed for the project. In addition, I was able to finish all
the steps needed to create for the animation, for the website, and
for the social media pages, in addition to how to create these
steps, tools needed to finish them, importance of the step, and the
estimated time I think would take to finish each one of these
steps. Any sources or websites needed for the project were
mentioned in the steps themselves. I also compared the time given
for the project to the total estimated time that I expected, to
finish the whole project, and I talked about whether or not I hadenough time to finish the project, in addition to talking about the
skills and knowledge that I needed in order for me to successfully
finish the project. I also talked about the reliability of my Plan and
how well someone can follow it to create their own similar product,
and I think that the Plan was very good for someone to follow it.
The only problem with it, which is why I think I got a 5 instead of a
6, is that some parts of it are less detailed than they should be.
For example, after finishing the full table for the steps for
creating the animation video, I didnt have time to create tablesagain for the website and the social media pages, and so, I just
wrote down the steps in a list, which made them less detailed and
less professional, in addition to that the steps for the website and
the social media pages didnt have the estimated time written for
them, because I didnt have time to do so, and so, I didnt have an
indication or estimation of how long it would take me to finish the
website and the social media pages. So, these few flaws dropped
me down a little bit, and I was expecting to get that grade,
because I knew that my performance wasnt at its best.
- Create:For my Create Stage, I did all right, but it wasnt my best piece of
work. I was able to finish just a still image of my animation video,
which is the main reason why I didnt get a very good grade and
didnt perform well in the Create Stage. As I said before, I didnt
have enough time to finish the full animation video, because for
most of the time in the Create Stage, I was just trying to solve
problems that I faced with Bryce, because the program was very
-
8/13/2019 Evaluation Stage Omar Ibrahim 10D
19/22
Omar Ibrahim 16/1/2014
10D
hard to use, and I was just trying to know how to use it, and the
same thing was happening with other students in class, and so,
throughout the Create Stage, I was just wasting time trying to
overcome problems that I had with Bryce, and I was just able to
create only a still image of the animation video. I was also able tocreate the full website, with text in Arabic and English in it, in
addition to images and videos related to the project. In addition, I
was able to create both social media pages that I wanted to
create, with comments on them, by me, a profile image, and a name,
but the problem was that these pages werentreally shared at all,
since there was only one follower on the FaceBook page, and that
was it, and so, the social media pages werent really effective,
because they werent used at all. In addition, I was able to create a
modified plan, where all the modifications I created for my PlanStage went, any additions, modifications, or steps removed. The
modified plan also had justifications for any modifications created
in the steps of the plan, or in other words, I talked about why I
changed any of the steps that I changed in the plan stage. In
addition, I was able to write all process journal entries, which all
talked about what I did today, any problems that I faced,
screenshots of todays work, and the progression in my work. So, I
got a 4 at the end, and it was mainly because of the incomplete
animation video and the unshared social media pages, the rest ofthe project was all complete.
- Attitudes in Technology:I think I did great in the Attitudes in Technology. Firstly, I was
able to follow the template and the criteria to create my work for
I.T, even though I wasnt able of finishing some work in time, but
for the work that I did, I followed the templates and the criteria
and the teachers guidance, whenever he told us to add any more
work or focus on anything specific. In addition, I was able to
comment on the news forum a lot, allowing me to take advice from
classmates and giving them advice, which would allow us to all have
great quality work. In addition, I was able to help and guide one of
my classmates and students a lot, which was Maher, who was new to
the school this year. I was able to spend a lot of time with him,
helping him, guiding him, telling him what to write and what to
submit, telling him about what we need to do in I.T class and in
home, and so, I was able to guide him to become more experienced
and more used to I.T class, without feeling very confused or lost,
-

10D
and so, I was able to help him a lot. Also, on most occasions, when I
faced any problems, with software or in class, I tried to always
solve these problems in the best ways possible, but in a few
occasions, I didnt solve these problems efficiently, but overall, I
think I deserve a 6 in Attitudes in Technology, because I was veryhardworking and helpful and guiding.
Goals for Next Project:
- Be faster with my work, instead of wasting a lot of time onunnecessary things.
- Try to be faster with solving problems that I face, at all times,so that I can quickly get back to work and proceed to finish my
product(s).
- Do a lot of research about the software or hardware that wewill use, before the beginning of the project, so that Im
prepared, when the project begins.
- Make faster designs and less detailed drawings that would takeaway hours of my time.
- Write fewer words when submitting stages of the project, because writing a lot could result in not finishing a lot of parts.
- Evaluate the Impact of the Product:- Right now, the product that I created is very ineffective and
very weak, because it is just an image, but I will answer the
following questions as if the product is complete and effective.
- Impact to Society:- What will be the impact for the intended user? Now, my product doesnt have an impact on anyone, at all, but if it
was a full, effective video, it wouldve impacted my audience a lot.
If the video was effective and successful enough, it couldve been
shared between people on FaceBook and Twitter, and eventually, it
would become very popular, and my audience, governments and
vehicle-making companies, would watch the video, and they would
start thinking more about developing future transportation
methods and making them better, because they would finally be
able to visualize how the future transportation methods will look
like, after watching my video, and so, in the near future, our
transportation methods will become better, faster, and more
efficient, and so, vehicle-making companies and governments will
become more successful, and they will gain more money, and the
economy of the government will become better, because there will
-
8/13/2019 Evaluation Stage Omar Ibrahim 10D
21/22
Omar Ibrahim 16/1/2014
10D
be more improved future transportation methods, that will be sold
to all the people around the world, solving problems such as
pollution and traffic, and so, my audience, governments and vehicle-
making companies will be richer with all the new, modern, and
improved transportation methods.- Will the product impact other people in society? Who, in and
what way?
Firstly, if the product is successful enough and it becomes popular
and widely spread on FaceBook and Twitter, it might actually
become a very important product around the world, and everyone
will be talking about it, and so, it will impact people in the streets,
friends, and family, which will talk about it continuously. Also, if
the vehicle-making companies actually start taking action into
creating the future transportation methods, and they do createthem, the transportation methods will become very popular and
widely spread around the world, and they will impact drivers around
the world and vehicle-lovers around the world, who will immediately
buy the new transportation methods and become more engaged
with them, as the transportation methods will become better and
more efficient, and so, they will impact vehicle customers by
making them feel very interested and connected to these
transportation methods, causing them to buy them.
- Impact on the Physical Environment:- How will it impact on your environments? (Yours, Others)As I said before, if the product becomes successful, and is shared
on the social media pages that I created, it might become famous
and popular enough to reach to authorities and governments and
vehicle-making companies, which would actually start creating
these future transportation methods and they would start
visualizing more future transportation methods, and if they start
creating the transportation methods, they will start taking
resources from nature, which would destroy nature and affect it
negatively. For example, to design the inside of a futuristic car,
vehicle companies could start cutting down large numbers of trees
in large forests, to design the car from the inside, and so, they
would ruin nature, destroy and kill trees, and ruin the habitat for
other plants and animals, causing their death. Also, these
companies could start killing innocent animals for their leather, and
start cutting down trees for rubber, which, once again, would ruin
habitats and kill many innocent animals and plants, causing their
-

22/22
Omar Ibrahim 16/1/2014
10D
death, and maybe, the animals might become endangered or
extinct. Also, using iron, steel, and aluminum can make nature look
ugly and broken down and demolished, after these companies take
all of these resources from nature, to build the vehicles, causing
nature to look deformed and unnatural. So, the product could bethe beginning of the impact of environments around the world,
including my environment and other environments.
- How will this product evolve? As I mentioned many times before, if I was able to create a full
animation video that is effective, it could attract a lot of people to
it, and many people might start joining the social media pages and
will start supporting the project, and so, the project will become
popular and serious, and people will start actually visualizing how
future transportation methods will look like, causing them to takeaction, and so, vehicle companies and governments will start
consuming money on this project, to make transportation methods
more developed and improved in the near future, and so, the
project will become very important, and soon, there might be a very
significant improvement in transportation methods, and the world
will have much better, faster, improved, and more efficient
transportation methods, that would stop problems in the world
such as pollution, global warming, accidents that cause death and
injuries, and of course, traffic. So, this project could be thebeginning of a new era for transportation methods.
