RULES AND REGULATIONS:-

First round will be the auditions where teams will beshort-listed via a one-and-a-half minute video that is

to be uploaded on www.primavera12.in.

Second round will be the ultimate onstage challenge.

The teams shall consist of a minimum of 4 members

and a maximum of 10 members.

At no point of time in the performance shall less than

4 members be present onstage; otherwise the team

will be disqualified.

The duration allotted for a performance will be 5+2

minutes.

The song list should not be objectionable in that usage

of profanity shall not be accepted.

The costumes should be modest.

Extra marks shall be awarded for usage of props.

The judges ruling will be final and on no context can it

be challenged.

ZODIAC

Unleash your alter ego and surrender to your creativity to

captivate the audience and walk the ramp like a pro to grabthe limelight. If you have what it takes, then ZODIAC -theinimitable is definitely your thing!!!


Consists of two rounds (prelims & finals)

The maximum and minimum numbers of models allowed

per team are 12 and 8 respectively, exclusive of thedesigner, choreographer and manager,

Crossover teams can be formed between students of

different colleges, all having valid college ID cards for

the current year.

Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification

from the event. The decision of the judges will be final.

Teams are suggested to inform the organizers of any

kind of props they are planning to use.

Every team will be allowed a time limit of 5 minutes

round for Round One ( auditions ) and a time limit of 12

minutes for Round Two (empty stage to empty stage).

The date for round one will be announced one week

before the event. Interstate teams will have to submit

their video and designs (online) to participate in the

audition.

RAGNA ROCK 2012

For the lovers of guitar rhythms and drum beats we have

the rock band concert cum competition which has thebiggest names in the circuit battling it out loud in the arenaof melodies. It has seen the participation of bands fromdifferent brackets across the nation ending in a colossalbattle onstage to witness mesmerisation of explosion ofmusic.


The invited bands shall send a link to a very recentlyrecorded mp3 file/performance video, with good soundquality and no noise, of length between 8-10 minutes,on or before the 10th of February.

The bands selected for the preliminary rounds will beinformed of their selection..

The dates of the prelims will be announced on thewebsite.

Any sort of profanity physical or verbal will lead todirect elimination.

The recordings may be in Hindi or English but thegenre should strictly be ROCK.

The first team member is supposed to copy theoriginal sketch while the successive team membercopies his predecessor. A perfect match with theoriginal is desired.

Two members per team.

First member will be provided a sketch to copy in 8minutes. Second member will be provided the sketch made by

his/her teammate. Second member will have 6 minutes to complete the

sketch. Note: Details of round 2 will be announced on the

spot.

Maximum number of participants will be 3

Each round will have a fixed limit.

Participants will be provided with materials and use of

any other material is strictly prohibited. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Judging will be completely based on the creativity and

the presentation of the team

Round I-

Materials like newspaper, icecream sticks, paper platesetc. will be provided.

Round II-

Only qualified participants of the first round are

allowed to take part in second round. This will be based

on event theme DOOMSDAY.

Up to 3 members per team

Candidates are not permitted to bring their colors,stencils or any other material.

In this event every team will handpick a shape that

should be visible prominently in their rangoli.

If the final rangoli is found to exceed the allotted area

marks shall be deducted.

The basic shapes allotted to the team must be visibleprominently in the final rangoli otherwise it will lead to

your disqualification.

The time limit is 90 min.

SAND CASTLE

Weather is nice and sunny we invite you to the virtual

beach and build some sand castles. We have lots ofthemes and tools for the job. :) Sand castle invitesupcoming architect, artists and anyone else who wants todisplay their talents to flip-the-bucket-over-instant-sandcastle.


Each team consists of 3 members. Participants are not allowed to bring any material with

them.

Round I-

Time Limit-10 min

In this round each team must build a sand tower. The

top 15 tallest tower will qualify for the II round.

If your tower happens to collapse before the judging

procedure, your team shall not be considered for the II

round. So make sure its stable!!!

Round II-

TIME LIMIT-1 HR The teams qualifying for the II round will hand pick

their castle shape out of a bag.

Priority will be given according to the height of their

towers.

Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his

own nature into his pictures.Let your feral imagination fathom the ingenuity of yourheart and paint every tiny wisp your spirit a breath.

So, get ready and up your sleeves to give a new face look ofyour partner..And remember, an artist cannot fail, for tobe one, is a success in itself.


Each team consists of 2 participants.

The Theme will be Open to everybody (no particular

theme).

The Participants will have to colour their partners face

under a Time limit of 20 minutes. Colours, brush and all the other required supplementary

materials will be provided.

Participants are not allowed to bring any kind of

external materials with them.

Your photographs must be submitted in jpeg format at

the Primavera moods information help desk.

Photographs clicked and submitted must be uneditedhowever cropping, light tuning can be done, if required.

Each participant can submit a maximum of 15

photographs.

Photographs captioned with tagline or title is welcomed

however the judgment would be done on the basis of

composition of photograph.

Cut shots: a platform where you can showcase yourunexplored potential in the world of film making.

So grab your casts, crew and camera as you begin to shootthe filmLights, Camera..Action!!

RULES AND REGULATIONS:- The participating teams should submit a movie between

8to 11 minutes. Any difference from this time duration

will result in a penalty of up to 30% marks.

Videos must be submitted as a single file in any format

with a minimum resolution of 640*480.

Entries will be rejected if found unsuitable for any

type of audience.

Ten teams will be shortlisted for the final event where

they will have to showcase their videos.

audience and 75% contribution from the judges.

popular events of Primavera. Search for clues all over thecampus, stalk the corners and leave no stone unturned. Sopump up your adrenaline and pull up your socks. This wouldbe a roller-coaster ride of a lifetime.


Each team consists of three members

Event consists of two rounds.

Round 1 will consist of 4 different tasks.

Each team will be allotted different tasks.

There will be 5 items to be procured by each team in

one task. Second task will be allotted only after the completion

of 1st task and so on.

A team can opt for a different task, but would result in

the deduction of points.

the completion of round one.

Design a machine that can move on land as well as run on

water !!Description

Round 1

You will be given a arena in which you will start on land thenenter water , again come on the land and cross the finishline. Terrain will be plane but there could be obstacles likewooden block on land only. (ramp will be provided toenter/exit water inclination 30 degrees max).

Round 2

Participants will be given wooden blocks of weight which

they have to carry across the same arena, the bot carryingmore weight in less time wins.

Rules

1. Bot size should not be more that 30x30x30cm.

2.Power supply is 12V dc max.

3. People using battery as power supply must mount it on thebot.

4. Those who are using ac/dc rectifying circuit will beprovided with standard 230V/50Hz.

A platform where creativity and innovativeness matters.Here is the opportunity for you to show your practicalmachining skills and expertise. What we actually search inyou is the passion for building, modifying and building realmachines.

GENERAL RULES :-

The teams qualifying round 1 will be eligible for round2.

A working prototype is to be made in the stipulatedtime.

No part of prototype should consist of foreignelement, i.e the one outside the domain of the junkprovided.

Only the tools required to build the prototype will be

Each team have to design a trebuchet using the givenspecifications on the spot.

A trebuchet is a siege engine that was employed inthe Middle Ages. inches.

Width cant exceed 8 inches.

Other then this teams are free to make any design.

A 12inch*8inch wooden board will be provided to eachteam with thickness of half or one inch.

And 7 feet stick of wood will also be given.

And 8 nails 3or4 inch length will be provided.

A rubber band or a spring will be provided (team can

take any 1 of them).

Wordathlon

Wordathlon will consist of 2 rounds. Round 1 is a written round, having questions to test

Where Deals Are Done In Lacs Only

A game of property dealing where a miniature city is set upand the city is open to you, the property dealers.


Each team will consist of two players.

This city consists of urban, rural and industrial areas

with different property values. The money provided

would be virtual. Teams may invest their money as they

wish.

The event will consist of 4 rounds. With each round

new changes will be brought into the city which will be

revealed on the spot.

Each round will have a fixed time limit. As the final round finishes, winners, would be decided

on the basis of their net assets. Team with highest

asset would be announced THEKEDAAR.

DETAILS FOR ACCOMODATION

Details regarding the accommodation in MNIT during

PRIMAVERA12 An amount of Rs. 800/- per person (Rs 100/-

refundable) is accommodation fee for all three days

(which will also enable you to participate in all three

days events).

Separate accommodation will be provided in well

furnished rooms to boys and girls which also includesbreakfast and two meals.

Accommodation along with required accessories

(mattresses, buckets, and mugs) per room basis will be

provided beforehand itself.

Each participant must provide his/her college

identification card.

Damage to any college property and misbehavior of any

kind will not be tolerated and a fine will be imposed

accordingly.

Carry valuables at your own risk. Primavera will not be

held responsible for any loss of property.

Limited accommodation thus on first come first serve

basis.

General participation rules

Entry only on valid college ID or college fee receipt

with valid photo ID. Any kind of obscenity, vulgarity, misbehavior will lead

to immediate disqualification.

Judges decision is final and binding.

Registration counters of events open 1hr 30 mins

before the event and for changing room events 2 hr

before the event and close 30 mins before the eventunless specified otherwise.

All event material should be collected immediately

after the performance is over. We do not guarantee

the safety of the material if collection is delayed.

Only CDs will be accepted. No music players allowed.

There should be a back-up of the CD with the

participants.

Audio cassettes will not be allowed in any event.

All sharp objects, batteries, inflammable objects,

cameras, lasers and torches will not be allowed.

No time jumps at the Tech-Desk during the event.

Only technical personnel will handle all equipment.

Unauthorized personnel shall not be allowed backstage.

Participants have to follow general audience flow once

the event gets over.
