focused on one pervasive problem: Homelessness

• Digital Mapping for Citizen Input– Provide easy opportunities for people to share signs of

homelessness that they see

• Neighborhood-Based Planning- like Angels Night– Use established City of Detroit boundaries– Identify and engage neighborhood teams, including homeless.– Assign volunteers to Neighborhood leaders– Provide on-spot training & mapping information for 2000

volunteers

• Year-long incentives for Homeless engagement– “Every Person Counts” buttons for service providers– Pre-count education campaign
