August was indeed a month of very ‘august happenings’.

As always, pictures speak louder than words.

The work at our site is progressing faster than expected.

Work on planning the laboratories is underway.

Prof. Dr. Sheila Nair is helping us with the Histopathology section.

We have had preliminary discussions with Prof. Dr. Selvakumar. He is guiding us with the Biochemistry section.

Prof. Dr. Sridharan is helping us with the Microbiology, Virology, immunology and Molecular Biology sections.

NARUVI NEWS

The highlight for August was the idea of s t a r t i n g t h e M U LT I - D I S C I P L I N A RY RESEARCH UNIT. Prof. Sridhar, in his usual style, has offered to be our Honorary Dean for Research. What is more interesting is that, he has already started the planning for the laboratories, the MDRU and even identified

some of the key people who are going to be involved as advisors or full time staff. He has got some excellent people collaborating with us already.

Thanks to our dear Chairman and the efforts taken by Prof. Sridharan, we are holding a seminar on 23 Sep 2017, the first of many to come, titled “Brainstorming for futuristic hospitals - A Henry Ford Naruvi Hospital Initiative”.
