Develop a common understanding of the Standards for Mathematical Practice in all MTLs.

Develop a common message across the district as to the work of the MTL and the development of understanding for the CCSS-Mathematics.

Each person reads their assigned standards. Highlight the important ideas in these

standards. Join your expert group to prepare a short

summary of these ideas. Return to your original table and take 3

minutes for each standard to explain your standards to those at your table.

The local bagel store sells a baker’s dozen of bagels for $6.49, while the grocery store down the street sells a bag of 6 bagels for $2.50.

Create multiple representations of the relationship between the cost of the bagels at each store that will help you determine which store has a better deal.
