The 5th International Conference on Energy,
Environment and Sustainable Development (EESD-
18) is the continual sequel of the previous EESD
conferences organized by the Energy and
Environmental Engineering Research Group
(EEERG) in collaboration of various Departments at
Mehran University of Engineering and Technology
Jamshoro.
The conference aims to provide a platform for
researchers, engineers, scientists and academicians
as well as industrial professionals from all over the
world to present their research contribution and
development activities in the energy sector. EESD-
18 provides opportunities for the delegates to
exchange new ideas and application experiences
face to face, to establish business or research
relations and to find global partners for future
collaboration.
The EESD-18 conference offers a track of quality
R&D updates from key experts and provides an
opportunity in bringing in the new and novel
techniques and possibilities that will contribute to
Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development
in future. EESD-18 conference is tailored for
everyone to meet face-to-face and discuss a wide
spectrum of recent research trends and
developments in the emerging technologies in the
market whilst keeping in mind the industrial
objective of sustainable development growth for
Asia.
Guest speakers representing various countries and
inter-governmental organizations, practicing
consultants, commercial catalysts from the region
will speak on a range of topical issues of Energy and
Environment and future prospects. All accepted
conference papers orally presented following
registration shall be published in conference
proceedings.

The venue of the conference is the Mehran University Auditorium at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, Pakistan. Jamshoro is located in the southern part of Pakistan. It is 165 km from Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan. It is only 12 km from Hyderabad, the 5th largest city of Pakistan. Jamshoro is the corridor of higher education institutions in Pakistan. There are four institutions of higher education & learning at Jamshoro, namely Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, University of Sindh, Liaquat University of Medical and health Sciences and Center of Excellence in Arts and Design. Jamshoro can be reached by train and bus from any part of Pakistan. Most of the international airlines have destination to Quaid -e- Azam International Airport, Karachi, only 02 hour away (by road from Jamshoro. There are many recreational and historical places surrounding Jamshoro. The Sindhiology Museum, Sindh Museum, Keenjar lake, Manchar Lake, Haleji lake, The Shrines of Sufi’s Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai, Rani kot castle, Bhambhore are the places worth to visit. ACCOMMODATION There is wide variety of hotel and guest house accommodation available in Hyderabad at 15 minutes drive from Jamshoro. Accommodation may be arranged on written request from the delegates.
