Ordered, That following Leader remarks on Thursday, August 6, 2020, the Senate proceed to executive

session and resume consideration of the nomination of John Peter Cronan, of New York, to be United States

District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

Ordered further, That at 11:30 a.m., notwithstanding the provisions of Rule XXII, the cloture motion

with respect to the Cronan nomination ripen.

Ordered further, That with respect to the motion to invoke cloture on the Cronan nomination, the

mandatory quorum call required under Rule XXII be waived.

Ordered, That if cloture is invoked, the post-cloture time expire at 1:30 p.m., and if confirmed, the

motion to reconsider be considered made and laid upon the table and the President be immediately notified of

the Senate’s actions. (Aug. 4, 5, 2020.)
