Sew Mate
Sew Mate is a website for quilters. It serves as a ‘virtual companion’ so quilters can be part of a community, even when they live far away from quilting guilds.
The site has many resources, although emphasis is placed on tutorials which teach how to stitch blocks together in order to make a quilt.
Ideally, quilters would be able to download PDF of each tutorial they liked. Further development would also include downloadable quilt patterns showing how the various quilt blocks can be used.
Sew Mate – work plan and timeline
Assets were prepared throughout the Multimedia Learning class during the Spring semester of 2015. However, during creation of the high fidelity prototype many of those assets were changed or replaced by those available in Adobe InDesign.
