Movimiento Familiar Cristiano

More Grassroots Evangelization (The Visit/La Visita)- THE VISIT (La Visita) of the Blessed Virgin Mary to your home will begin this coming month of August. At every Mass, a family will be called to the front during the announcement time and will have the honor of: (1) Receiving the Blessing for the Family; (2) Bringing the Image of the Blessed Virgin Mary to their home; (3) Praying for their Family and Peace in our Community and the whole world. The family will also be receiving a bag with rosaries and guide to praying the rosary. They will also be given, as a token of THE VISIT, a bottle of holy water which will stay at their home for their use. A parish organization will be assigned to coordinate THE VISIT of the image of the Blessed Virgin with the host family. Imagine the number of families we can reach out to every year. Imagine the strength of prayer we can offer to God as a parish community. Imagine the bless-

ings you and your family can receive through THE VISIT. Should you want to be scheduled to receive THE VISIT, please fill up the form at the bottom and submit to the Parish Office. Remembering Our Loved Ones, Living and Deceased- Lighted Candles have always been symbols of our prayer to God. They also signify God’s enduring compassion and love for us. We will be embarking in an on-going project to remember our loved ones- living and deceased. We will be placing panels of beautiful electric memorial and vigil candles inside the Church, specifically by the Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe and the Divine Mercy. Parishioners will have the option of (1) honoring their departed loved ones (2) with their names (first name and family name) etched on a plate with the date of birth or their date of death. (3) The candle will stay on for 24 hours for 365 days of the year (4) and their names will be mentioned during the Mass on the date of their passing away or on the day the family chooses. A maximum of two names may be etched on the plate. Families may also choose to light a candle in honor of a living member of the family, in such case, only the date of birth may appear. After paying off the cost to build this project, ALL PROCEEDS OF THIS PROJECT WILL GO TO THE RESERVED FUNDS FOR THE BUILDING, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF THE CHURCH which will only be used during EMERGENCY OR VERY URGENT NEEDS. The funds will not be used for the regular operat-ing cost of the Church. This project will guarantee a source of funds during emergency or urgent needs. By supporting this project, not only are you able to honor your loved ones, but you are able to support your Church during times of urgent repair needs. Are you interested in doing your Confirmation, First Communion, Bap-tism or even all three? Our RCIA Program prepares you to receive your sacraments of initiation. We will start this fall in August and go until next Spring. Classes are Mondays from 7pm - 9pm.

Come by the office to fill out an application and to make an appoint-ment with one of our Priests.

Is the class free? YES. The class is free, but you will be asked to pur-chase your own books. All books total cost around $60.
