Chores are simply a pain. The chores that I truly detest are scouring the bathroom, cleaning the kitchen, and taking care of my dog. Chores should only be for maids. bathroom sink mirror with Windex feel like I am a maid Mainly, I loathe cleaning the bathroom. Starting with the sink, I have to scrub it until it shines brightly. After that, I have to take the tip of my fingernail and get the crusty old toothpaste off of the porcelain. Gross! Then, I spray the mirror with Windex until it has sparkles. Squirt! Squirt! Squirt! Why is it when people brush their teeth they leave little drops of water all over the mirror? A simple solution would be to dry off the mirror while the sprayed water is still wet and it would come off quite easily. I feel like I am a maid for hire when cleaning the bathroom and I am only nine years old. Give me a break. Cleaning bathrooms is definitely NOT on my list of favorite things to do. 2010 Write Reflections and its licensors Slide 16 Furthermore, I have to make the kitchen glisten. The countertops have to be washed down with bleach water in order to get rid of germs and the floor gets a coat of bleach, as well. Of course, my hands smell like I took a bath in bleach after all of that is accomplished. Sometimes I use Pine Sol instead of bleach. It has a better smell and it doesnt make my lungs burn. My final task is taking out the smelly ole trash to the dumpster and boy does it reek. It never fails that something has leaked out into the trashcan and then I get the pitiful job of cleaning that out, too. There comes the bleach again. Gag me! 2010 Write Reflections and its licensors Slide 17 dog Taking care of my dog Monty is another chore that I can't bear. It is not that I dont love him; it is just a big task. Every day I have to feed him and scoop out his dog food into his large bowl. People probably think I smell like a dog myself after that because that dog food makes my hands stink. On the weekends, I have to bathe Monty so he doesnt make the whole house smell. Guess what he does when I bathe him? He shakes all of his wet water onto me and then he rubs up against me leaving his thick black hair all over my body. Youre gonna get it! I yell to him. One time I had to chase him around the neighborhood because he took off like a bunny rabbit on the run across Mr. Verts yard. Luckily, Mr. Vert didnt see Monty trample all over his flower garden or he would have been steaming mad. bathroom Doing chores is a bore. I guess if I didnt clean the bathroom, the kitchen and my dog nobody would. Well, I have to go. I have to call Maid Pro. You might want their number, too. It is 645- 5555. They do a great job! 2010 Write Reflections and its licensors Slide 18 Bows 2010 Write Reflections and its licensors A messy house is a happy house, and this house was delirious. Not any more. House closed until help arrives. I have to go call Maid Pro. Their number is Cleaning is for maids, not for kids. Chores should be detested by ALL. Are you for hire? I need a maid.
