school. The Annual Dinner is not only an occasion for the alumni to get nostalgic and relive their

school memories but also helps us in maintaining the strong connect with our alumni.

Annual Day

Annual days have always been a special occasion for Kāsiga. It is always a delight to see young Kāsigans express themselves through dance, theatre and music. The 12th Annual Day began with the welcome of the Chief Guest Mr. Tarun Vij, a scholarly and renowned dignitary in the health and nutrition sector.

Our Chairman and his wife Mr. & Mrs Batta, Honourable Chief Guest, Director Finance and Administration Mr. Sidharth Batta and the Head of the School Mrs Sonali Sinha lit the ceremonial lamp. The musical performance gracefully set the tone with a cover of ‘We are the Champions’, a hard rock composition followed by the Indian orchestra reconstructing the magical harmony of ‘Game of Thrones’ based on Hindustani Raag Darbari. Abhisaar, the dance-drama conceptualized and choreographed by the Odissi danseuse Ms. Sharmila Bhartari, showcased Rabindra Sangeet composed by Guru Tagore himself. Kāsigans presented Timeless Tales, directed by Mr. Sudeep Modak and choreographed by Ms. Pooja Pant who is a Kathak exponent known for her choreography. The dramatics team brought R.K. Narayan's ‘A Tiger in Malgudi’ to life. This was followed by Rabindranath Tagore's ‘Last Rites’ and finally, Saadat Hasan Manto's 'Titwal ka Kutta’. These plays were intended to awaken, sensitise and initiate a set of ideals that culminate in transformative wisdom in modern society
