Genesis Aquatic Centre offers comprehensive swimming lessons and coaching programs for all ages.

Learn to Swim - Our engaging Learn to Swim

classes cater for babies from 6 months old through

to primary school children.

Squad Coaching - Once students have completed

the Learn to Swim program, they progress

seamlessly into our Swim Squad program, led by

world class coach, Brendan Keogh.

Adults Swim Squad - Swimming is great for fitness

at any age. Our adult swim squad helps swimmers

achieve their own specific goals, such as stroke

correction, masters swimming or triathlon training.

Genesis Sport & Aquatics

Located within the Genesis Christian College

campus, Genesis Sport & Aquatics is a state-of-

the-art facility with world-class coaches. It’s the

home of Genesis Aquatic Centre, Genesis Tennis,

Genesis Fitness Centre, Genesis Football, Genesis

Pinecones Netball, Genesis Triathlon and adult

fitness options. It’s the one convenient location

where everyone in your family can enjoy living

an active and healthy lifestyle. With a focus

on fun, participation and improving sporting

performance, Genesis Sport & Aquatics is open

to College students and their families, as well

as local community members.



Genesis Fitness Centre is a community-based gym offering a range of fitness options for our members.Our fun classes, Active Kids and Kids Boxing,

run regularly throughout the week, both before

and after school and cater for children from

Prep through to Year 12.

Our Athletics Performance Program, GAPP,

is recommended to all students looking

to improve their sports performance.

Adults also enjoy exercising at Genesis Fitness

Centre with a motivating range of group fitness

classes like Spin, Boxing, Pilates and Circuit.

In addition to our well-equipped gym, personal

trainers are also available for one on one coaching.



Genesis Tennis is an all-ages tennis program that operates from undercover courts.

Genesis Tennis is an all-ages tennis program that

operates from undercover courts. Genesis Tennis

provides group tennis lessons for juniors aged 4

to 12 years. Lessons are modified to suit the size,

strength and co-ordination levels of young players.

As the program progresses, fundamental skills are

introduced and continually developed.

Squad coaching is available for students aged 13-

17 years. Genesis Tennis also offers Friday fixtures

(for players aged 8+) as well as Green Ball fixtures

specifically for Green Ball players. Adult social fixtures

run on Monday evenings. Best of all, our indoor

tennis facilities mean we play rain, hail or shine!



Genesis Football is a soccer organisation with a team of qualified coaches dedicated to help our players develop their soccer skills in a fun environment.

Training is held on our ovals three afternoons

a week and players can attend one or all of these

sessions. Our training is fun and energetic with

activities specific to every skill level, whether your

child is a beginner or upper intermediate.



Genesis Pinecones Netball

Genesis Pinecones are a family friendly netball

club competing in the Pine Rivers Netball

Association competition. The club ensures players

receive the best development possible and caters

for players turning 8 years in the commencement

year to a friendly ladies team. The club trains

Wednesday nights at Genesis Christian College

and plays at the Les Hughes Sports Complex,

Francis Road, Lawnton every Saturday.

Genesis Triathlon caters for the sports of Triathlon including Duathlon, Aquathon, Cross-triathlon (MTB) and Triathlon.

The club provides a structured training

environment along with a club environment

at events. Our Club Coach, Mark Tucker, has

extensive experience in coaching and has

previously been named Triathlon Queensland

Coach of the Year.



Genesis Multi Sport Holiday Program

Genesis Multi Sport Holiday Program is a vacation

care style program run by Genesis Sport & Aquatics

and is a great way to keep the kids busy over the

school holidays! Incorporating a range of fun

sporting activities, this program is designed to keep

kids active, entertained and off screens throughout

the school holidays by trying new sports. It’s also

a great option for working parents or those kids

who bounce off the walls at home! The program

operates every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

of school holidays from 8am through to 5.30pm.

The program also runs most pupil free days.



Instrumental Music Program

Genesis provides a quality instrumental music

extra-curricular program to enhance the overall

education of students.

Private lessons are available before, during

or after school in the following instruments:

• Piano

• Guitar

• Strings: violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp

• Woodwind: flute, clarinet, oboe, saxophone

and bassoon

• Brass: trumpet, trombone, French horn,

euphonium and tuba

• Orchestral percussion

Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC)

The AAFC is a youth development organisation

sponsored by the Royal Australian Air Force.

The organisation has a long tradition of providing

unique experiences for Australia’s youth to develop

their character and build lifelong skills.

As an Air Force cadet, students will:

• Learn to fly gliders, powered aircraft and drones

• Develop survival skills

• Make lifelong friends

• Develop leadership and team work skills

• Complete firearms training

• Develop a knowledge of the Australian Defense

Force in particular the RAAF

• Learn to be self-dependent and organised

• Perfect drill and ceremonial skills

• Become disciplined and confident

Genesis Drama Academy offers an extra-curricular

Speech and Drama program for students from

Prep to Year 12. Our objective is to develop

Genesis Dance Academy

Genesis Dance Academy offers extra-curricular,

outside of school hours classes for students aged
