are writing.
Starting with the ‘swish’ each time, carefully write the
letters along the line. Remember to take your time,

Sometimes we go out.When we are out, I have to stay with

When we are out,there are lots of people.
People I don’t know, are called strangers.
Strangers can be nice. Strangers can be mean.
I shouldn’t talk to strangers because I do not know if they are safe .
There are some strangers who are ‘safer strangers’.
Safer strangers can help people. These are people I can talk to.
For example, these are people who will help me if I got lost one day.
Safer strangers will wear auniform and a name badge. They will often have a picture of their face on the
badge
If I am lost, I could look for a‘safer stranger’.
They can help me.

method looks like. The top circle is for the whole – this is the total amount. The two circles
below are to show how the total
amount can be split into two amounts.

of 6 and 4.The number
sentence would be 6 + 4 = 10
Today’s job is to investigate
different ways of making the numbers 11, 12 and 13 using
the part part whole method. Look at how
many you have altogether and see how you can split
them into two groups.
