AQUAPANEL Cement Board technology has already revolutionised

the design and construction o buildings world-wide. Now, the

new generation o oor systems rom Knau USG Systems providesarchitects and construction proessionals with a superior alternative to

wet screeds which can be used or all kinds o oor constructions.

AQUAPANEL Cement Board Floor has an innovative edge design with a

slot on all our sides, making installation aster and easier. Simply apply

the AQUAPANEL Slot Adhesive (PU), insert the AQUAPANEL Biscuit,

and press the panels together. No screws are required. The system is

sel-levelling during installation so oor panels create a level surace.

When used with AQUAPANEL Levelling Fill, AQUAPANEL Cement

Board Floor provides the perect oor structure. An AQUAPANEL

Cement Board Floor system is suitable or all kinds o oor

    constructions, particularly or reurbishment projects.

Where suraces are level, lay AQUAPANEL Cement Board Floor MF

(laminated with impact sound insulation board) or lay AQUAPANEL

Cement Board Floor on insulation board with high compressive strength

(check suitability or dry oors). For uneven suraces, prepare a level,

load-bearing surace using AQUAPANEL Levelling Fill. Then lay covering

board, fnishing with a top layer o AQUAPANEL Cement Board Floor.

Place edge insulation strips along the walls to avoid sound bridges.

Align oor panels against the wall and install them with joints oset.

Where necessary, cut to size using a handheld circular saw with

diamond-tipped saw blade. Beore applying the adhesive, remove dust

rom the edges o the panels using a damp brush. To lay the panels,

apply a thin bead o AQUAPANEL Slot Adhesive (PU).

Put the AQUAPANEL Biscuit into the slot and push the panels together

until the adhesive squeezes out. As soon as the AQUAPANEL Slot

Adhesive (PU) has hardened (approx. 12 hours), scrape o excess

adhesive using a putty knie or scraper and prime the entire surace with

AQUAPANEL Interior Primer. Beore gluing down the oor covering,

check that the adhesive is compatible with a cement sub-surace. For

ceramic tiles, use a exible waterproo adhesive with a suitable grout.

For gluing down parquet, ollow the manuacturers instructions.
