Facebook Analysis

Throughout this project I will look at different users of facebook find out what they like about it and

what they don’t. I will then try and fix a problem that facebook may have.

My 1st User

My first user is myself. I am 19 years old and attend Magee College. I like to go out and weekend and spend alot of time with my boyfriend and friends.

I mostly use facebook for seeing what friends and family are up to, playing games and updating Photos from weekends out and family parties.

My 2nd User

My second chosen user Is my little brother Jason.Jason is 13 years old and attends St Peter’s HighSchool, were his favourite subject is maths. He is a bigMan Utd fan and also likesto play football himself. He likes to play his xbox and his favourite things to watch are two and a half men, eminem and family guy.

He mostly goes on facebook to noisey and chat with friends.

After choosing my users the next step was to write short story about what each does on facebook. Then

from these stories see what the users motivations, interaction, interface and visual attractions were to

facebook.

After writing the stories and finding why the users go on facebook the next step was to get some

help from class mates to come up with some ideas for something that could be fixed or something

that could be made that would help the user while on facebook.

Facebook already has group which you can put specific people into groups and see there newsfeeds there, so the second point wouldn’t be much different to what facebook already has.

However easier and faster upload would save people alot of time. So this is the one I am going to choose.
