Open Educational Resources (OER)Training• “How to use OER” training is booming (114 faculty

registered in April training alone).• We have started building “OER Master” training as a

train-the-trainer training. It focuses on training the participants to be OER masters who can offer OER training to beginners.

• Training registration at www.waol.org/faculty_and_staff/Research• We have completed data collection and analysis (derived

from survey responses with 770 faculty and interviews with 53 faculty). We anticipate completion of the data report in May.

Shared Courses - Canvas • Faculty will continue to access their MyWAOL

page from within Canvas. • The instructor’s account from the teaching

school is enrolled in the shared course. • Our plan is to have all shared courses in the

teaching college Canvas sites, instead of in SBCTC Canvas as they are now. This should help with manageability, so the local e-learning staff can help administer the courses. We’re working with Instructure and the college e-learning coordinators to get this done in time for Summer quarter.
