Dr. Ho’s Retirement: Dr. Hoi Ho will be retiring as of September 1, 2015. Dr. Ho and his wife plan to return to Vietnam after retiring. Dr. Lange has requested that Dr. Ho stay onboard on a part time basis to help with the current Tenure and/or Promotion cycle and to continue to chair CFAPTA through the end of the year. Dr. Lange plans to appoint an interim Dean of Faculty Affairs and Development, and then later recruit externally. Dr. Ho’s many jobs will be assigned to faculty on campus for now. Hospital Updates: UMC was placed on preliminary denial of accreditation due to a citation received in their sanitation department. They are moving swiftly to correct the issue.
