SPECIAL FEATURES

Industry-informed degrees, recently updated.

Laboratory equipment and sport facilities accessible for students to use inside and outside of curriculum delivery (new £1.9m extension to teaching facilities in 2010).

All courses provide opportunities to engage with external partners (LSP, schools, elite clubs/athletes) to develop theoretical understanding and graduate ‘employability’ skills.

National Student Survey 2010/11

• Highly Rated in the NSS overall: one of the top universities for Sport for the past three years

• ‘Balance between practical and theoretical work has been good. Availability of lecturers when needing advice or help with an issue has been excellent. Always willing to stop and help or point you in the right direction’.
