SPECIAL FEATURES

Industry-informed degrees, recently updated.

Laboratory equipment and sport facilities accessible for students to use inside and outside of curriculum delivery (new £1.9m extension to teaching facilities in 2010).

All courses provide opportunities to engage with external partners (LSP, schools, elite clubs/athletes) to develop theoretical understanding and graduate ‘employability’ skills.

Student as Producer

• Student as Producer emphasises the role of the student as ‘collaborators’ and ‘partners’ within the production of knowledge.

• A process that engages students in real world situations, giving them responsibility for learning, which enhances students’ employability skills.
