Statesboro First United Methodist ChurchAngel Tree

I want to thank everyone for the success of the “Angel Tree” program this year. We were able to give 48 children, from 22 families, 2 gifts each from their incarcerated parent this year. That is a total of 96 gifts purchased and delivered by the members of this church! To the people that helped pack up the gifts for delivery, the people that purchased and wrapped gifts and the people that helped to deliver the gifts, I want to thank each of you!! I have been coordinating this program for several years, the members of our church have never failed to embrace this program and for that I am thankful!! Once again, thank you for ALL you do, not just for “Angel Tree” children, but for all you do for everyone! - Nancy Martin

I believe in God the Father Almighty,maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried;the third day he rose from the dead; he ascended into heaven,

and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
