    HOOS WELL@FITNESS CONSULTATION orASSESSMENTAs part of the HoosWell@ Wellness Program, a one-hour appointment for a FitnessConsultationorFitnessAssessmentisoffered for FREE. You will be asked to choose between the Consultation or Assessment at the time of registration. Appointmentsmay be requested anytime during facility hours and determined by personal trainer availability. Exercise prescription is not included.Participationislimitedtooneregistration.

    HoosWell@FitnessConsultation: This appointment will help you understand fitness guidelines, common barriers andgoal setting. Aided by a personal trainer, you will develop your own personal fitness goals and implementation strategy aswell as learn to maximize workout routines while minimizing risk of injury. Session includes a fitness equipment orientation.

    HoosWell@FitnessAssessment: This appointment will help determine your current fitness level as well as provide adiscussion for methods of improvement. Assessment includes blood pressure screening, body composition, cardio-vascular endurance testing, functional movement screening and an information packet with results and exercise-relatedinformation is provided. Medical clearance may be requested prior to appointment scheduling.

    Massage Therapy is a safe and effective treatment that

    benets people of all ages and walks of life, offering a

    non-invasive and drug-free approach to assist the bodys

    natural ability to heal itself. Massage Therapy is dened

    as an application of various techniques to the muscular

    structure and soft ti ssues of the human body.

    SWediSh MaSSage

    One of the most commonly taught and well-known

    massage techniques, it is designed to relax and

    re-energize the body by stimulating circulation.

    deep TiSSue

    Uses techniques that uti lize deep pressu re to affect the sublayer

    muscles in areas of discomfort. It is generally integrated with other mas-

    sage techniques.

    SporTS MaSSage

    Applies specic motions, st retching, and pressures on the bodys

    muscles that are part of a training regimen for specic spor ts and

    designed to maximize performance before, during, and afterphysical exertion.

    SeaTed MaSSage

    Includes techniques that provide massage to ful ly clothed back, neck,

    Uses different general massage techniques depending on the individ-uals situation and trimester. The therapist will adjust the positioning of

    the client to effect overall comfort. Physicians consent required prior

    Uses hot stones in conjunction with Swedish

    massage techniques. The stones are placed

    in key reex areas along the body to helppromote relaxation. Please let the practitioner

    know before the scheduled massage in

    between the skin and muscles allover the body, sometimes causing an

    instruction, motivation, and support.Each package includes an initial fitnessassessment to determine current fitnesslevel, training goals, and strategy forimprovement.     Change the way you train! (Total BodyResistance eXercise) is a suspension

    training tool where a variety of multi-planar, compound exercise movementscan be performed which developstrength, balance, flexibility, and joint

    variety of functional exercises that whencombined, create unique and challengingtraining sessions to meet the performanceenhancement goals of all individuals inboth athletic and recreational capaci-ties.     NUTRITIONEVALUATION.

    A well-balanced diet is a critical compo-nent of a healthy lifestyle. You will learn to

    identify key nutrient sources and under-stand how to make wise food choices.

    A Registered Dietician will review yourcurrent dietary habits to identify areasfor improvement to get you on track withyour goals. 30 minute and 60 minuteoptions available.

    FITNESS+NUTRITION.

    Incorporate two components of wellnesswith sessions that focus on establishing

    effective workouts with a healthy nutritionplan. Package includes a fitness assess-ment, two personal training sessions,and one 60-minute Nutrition Evaluation.Each session is 60 minutes in length andrenewal package options are available.

    FITNESS+MASSAGETHERAPY.
