We were thankful to share a Thanksgiving dinner with our members and their families. Nearly 400 people attended our Jeffers and Hagerstown Unit dinners. The Marsh Golf Outing was a success withover twenty teams participating in the event that celebrated a 20 year relationship. Marsh vendors from around

the state were able to spend the day golfing and received 20th Anniversary “swag” including golf balls, towels, and shirts. Thanks to our gift sponsors, First Bank Richmond and Tiedemann-Bevs Industries and our food sponsors Smithfield Foods and Ideal Meats.

BGC Sharp ShootersWe recently had a BGC SHARP SHOOTERS clinic at our Hagerstown unit on September 2-4th. The clinic was offered as a free bonus for all of our new and existing members. Members had a great time as they learned the importance of the fundamentals of basketball. Each member left knowing the basics of offense, defense, rebounding and shooting form. They also taught each member to demonstrate a positive attitude even through adversity. They were taught the importance of sportsmanship and being a good teammate. Thank you to Jacob Hampton for putting this program together and organizing it, and to Kelly Bauchert for assisting with the event.
