Teen DescriptionsWet Ball Water Polo Learn fundamental skills like dribbling, treading, passing and rules of the game. This class will teach participants how to work as a team and most of all have fun! Participants must have passed the equivalent of an Eel level or should be at or above a Guppy level.

Teen TRX Training Class Designed for Teens: TRX is the suspension training system that utilizes full core strength to engage every muscle of the body. Our TRX classes vary to suit different levels and different needs. Use your core and TRX to elevate you to new fitness goals.

Climbing-Belayers This is an introduction to basic movement and belay techniques. This is a progressive class that takes participants from basic to the intermediate skills of climbing. Participants will learn harness and belay set up, top rope belay techniques, knots, movement on the rock, bouldering, safety skills and goal setting. Upon completions of the belayers skill development program and belay test, climber may progress to our Rock Solid program.

Climbing-Rock Solid Our Rock Solid class is for those climbers who have successfully completed our belayers skills development and belay test. Climbers will learn advanced foot placements, body movements, route climbing, as well as an intro into lead climbing, quick draws, lead belaying and top rope management. Climbers in this program have an opportunity to participant in our Youth Demo Team.

Girls On-The-Go Sometimes, "Girls Just Want To Have Fun!" Similar to our Girls On-The-Go Specialty Summer Camp, these girls will enjoy the thrills of just being a girl! Nail polish, facial masks, makeup, photo shoots, fashion and more! Not only will they have a great time making homemade, organic beauty products, but their instructor will also be sure to address issues such as self esteem, body image and healthy nutrition. This program is meant to help empower our little ladies and help them develop into strong and beautiful young women!

Junior Chef Our Top Chef Camp has always been a huge hit, so we decided to bring this program into the school year! Do you like spending time in the kitchen, experimenting with food? We will be whipping up some fun as we learn how cooking can truly be an art form. We will have blast trying a variety of recipes, learning about healthy options and alternatives, and best of all - eating all of our concoctions! We will always use all natural and organic products and will learn about the health benefits of doing so.

SkyWalker High Ropes This Awesome expedition class takes place in our Adventure Center up on our high ropes course. Participants will be presented with challenges on the earth quake bridge, tremor and floating beam, the loop rope bridge, the kitten crawl and so much more. Each participant will log every challenge and accumulate vertical and horizontal footage needed to become a member of our Sky Walker Expedition team. Step out of your comfort zone and join us for the excitement and challenge of this unique program.

Family Martial Arts In this open style program, parents and children train together, learning how to kick, punch and apply self defense techniques while spending a little together-time as a family. Cost is for 1 parent & 1 child.

Family Martial Arts Extra Extra fee for each additional family martial arts participant.

Karate 13 & up Learn the traditional style of Japanese Karate in a way that is enjoyable, fun, and inspiring. As concentration, discipline and structure are all emphasized, students will develop physically and mentally while learning karate techniques. Children build confidence and self-respect as they improve and progress. Our Karate instructor, Mary Lou Romano, has 40 yrs experience in the art of karate. No uniform is required for the first session.

Martial Arts This class is for men, women and children 8 and older. Your training will include traditional and nontraditional martial arts including self-defense.

Tumbling Leap, pirouette, vault or flip your way into this class today! Our very own USA Gymnastics certified instructor is at the Y and ready to help you flip into a new school year! With experience coaching every level from tiny tots through National Champions as well as leading trainings at National Gymnastics Congress and the Olympic Trials, our tumbling instructor is ready to take your child to new heights! Our tumbling program focuses on fun while teaching every level of tumbling through proper technique and repetition. Every lesson includes goal-oriented games and activities that make learning new skills fun! Developing balance, strength, coordination and flexibility will not only help your child develop into a strong tumbler, but will also help them develop in ways that will improve their performance in all other sports as well! Youth Handball Handball is a lifetime sport that develops great hand/eye coordination,footwork, agility and quick thinking.

Youth Handball Team Players learn the more advanced skills of the game. Strategy shot selection and mechanics,pre-shoot positioning off hand development, offensive and defensive techniques are focused on.

Music Club Hop on over and join the jam sesh! Whether you're a one-man band or can't carry a tune in a bucket - this program will be fun for all levels of talent and musical experience. The purpose of this club will be to help teenagers explore the world of music through a variety of different experiences. Members of Lattof's music club will get a chance to try out different instruments, listen to a wide variety of music & learn about their histories, take a field trip to see a live performance and more! They say that music is the language of the soul. We will help show our teens different ways to express themselves musically, whether it's as a performer or a spectator. Local musicians will appear as guest speakers/performers each session and will help us appreciate even more, the effort behind what we hear on the radio. The Music Club will also be in charge of our monthly Open Mic Nights!

Club Night Teenagers are taking over the building!! Come join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month, when the building is closed to everyone except our teenage friends! Each month will be a little different, to keep our Club Saturday Night's hoppin'! Some of our feature events will be bags tournaments, rock climbing, ping pong tournaments, swimming, a DJ and more! Come spend your Saturday nights with your friends at Lattof!
