FAMILY CONSTITUTION

PREAMBLEThe family constitution is a guide on family members code and conduct in dealing with each other and the people with in the community.

MISSION STATEMENTTo promote harmony with in the members of the family and the community as a whole, this can be achieved by promoting communication amongst family members and members of the community as a whole, Open communication can lead to resolving disputes. We acknowledge that everyones opinion and views will be heard and encourage active participation from family members.

FAMILY COUNCILThe family council is composed of all the members of the family, the council will meet at least once a week and discuss about the family values and the potential problems or challenges the family have encountered or might encounter in making sure that the family values are being adhered to. The family council is committed to support each other in improving the quality of our lives.

CODE OF CONDUCT1. RESPECT FAMILY MEMBERS PRIVACY2. DRESS APPOPRIATELY DURING FAMILY GATHERINGS OR RELATED EVENTS3. PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF FOUL OR OFFENSIVE LANGUAGE4. BE RECEPTIVE OF CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS.

CONFLICT RESOLUTIONIn the event a dispute arising between members of the family, the head of the family will mediate the dispute, he will give the parties ample time to air their side of the story and make a sound decision based on the pieces of information he has gathered. Sanctions shall be imposed on the offending party. Sanctions include but not limited to monetary fines, depending on the gravity of the offense committed.
