Norland Nursery opened in Bath in August to care for and educate 53 children aged from four months to fi ve years. Norland Nursery offers a unique experience for children, with free fl ow play throughout the nursery – inside and outdoors. All the equipment is of the very highest quality and traditional wooden toys are used wherever possible. Each room focuses on a different area including discovery, technology, refl ection, and creative / imaginative - there is even an indoor beach! The nursery’s philosophy is underpinned by that of the founder of Norland College, Emily Ward. As such, the nursery is child centred where parents and families are encouraged to share in their children’s care

and learning to develop a true partnership.
