PašmanThe Pašman Island is

located at the heart of the Dalmatian coast. Only about 25 km from the vibrant center of Zadar, 18 km from the international airport and a stone´s throw away from the Kornati National Park, Pašman combines both: the tranquility and beauty of the Adriatic

Sea and islands as well as the lifestyle, culture and heritage of the vibrant Croatian seaside towns.

The island is surrounded by two National Parks (Kornati and Paklenica) and three Natural Parks (Velebit, Telašćica, and the Vrana Lake). The Plitvica Lakes and the Krka Waterfalls are close to the region.

It is also known to have the

cleanest water in the Adriatic due to the current constantly changing.

There are 11 villages on Pašman, from SE to NW: Tkon, Ugrinić, Kraj, Pašman, Mali Pašman, Barotul, Mrljane, Neviđane, Dobropoljana, Banj, Ždrelac.

Every village has a wonderful, public beaches, and the shallow water is great for smaller kids paddle in.

streets and beaches and excellent health care facilities. Sunburn and food-related illnesses are the main health problem of a holiday here and having good travel insurance is an absolute must for everyone.

There are pharmacies in towns and resorts all over both islands (Preko, Kali, Tkon). While attendants will invariably speak English, having the generic name of any medication you may be on is a good idea in case they don’t make your brand.The main ER is in Preko and 5 more ambulances in the village Tkon, Nevidjane, Kukljica, Kali and Ugljan.For serious injuries, ER Preko has an emergency speedboat on duty 24 hours daily, and for less than 10 minutes, the patient is in Zadar hospital.

in less than half an hour and Pašman is connected by ferry from Biograd. Frequent bus service is available for throughout the islands connecting the villages of Ugljan and Pašman.
