We, at Lakhotia Institute of Design, Hyderabad, India, have pioneered creative minds in Fashion, Textile, Interiors, Architecture and Hospitality for the last two decades. We have a holistic, practical approach to teaching. Knowledge of techniques, Skill to apply and improvise those techniques, Competency to match the needs of the industry and an open Attitude towards creativity is what we inculcate in our students.

Our courses in Fashion, Interior and Textile Design, Architecture, Pattern Making, Fashion Styling, Film Making, Photography, and Modelling have the best people guiding and shaping students into competent assets of the industry. Seminars, workshops, guest lectures, IV’s by the industrial experts have only made them better.

We believe creativity and productivity come from within. Helping people embrace their skills has been an amazing journey and we will continue to lead the ones under our wing to identify and interpret their strengths, give them direction and a progressive path of learning. We offer Autono-mous 3 Year / 2 Year / 1 Year courses and Degree from UGC Approved Universities / Diploma from JNAFAU and we are about to launch a 2 year PG Diploma program from JNAFAU.

I did my 1 year Interior Designing course at Lakhotia Institute of Design. “The practical aspect of working in the industry has been very good. It has been extremely important in providing me confidence and a broader viewpoint to approach the field of interior designing. After my studies at Lakhotia Institute of Design I wanted to do something out of the box. Presently, I am working as a Senior Stylist in Mumbai. I see a lot of opportunities in future as people are now becoming aware of fashion and sense of style. I worked with celebrities like Sushmita Sen, Mugdha Godse, Sonal Chauhan, Isha Gupta, Aslam Khan, Asif Merchant, Vikram Phadnis.

I did PG Diploma in Fashion Design from Lakhotia Institute of Design, Hyderabad.“At present I am working as Manager at Portmans, Australia, and Visual Merchandiser at Levi's. Since my childhood, I have been fascinated with design, colours and wanted to work in a creative field like fashion design. I feel a designer or artist has the freedom of expressing any emotion, feeling, happiness or even sadness through his/her artwork, it can be through any form of art. I have experienced that design solves problems and helps explore new avenues.
