Faithfulness(Running the Race)
Following Jesus is more like a
marathon than a sprint. Some
people are after instant fixes
and only seem to be able to
commit to something for a few
weeks before they wander off
to the next thing. Maturing in
the Lord is a process
accomplished over time.Developing the life of the Spirit
- growing in His grace and fruit
- takes place as we yield to
Gods will day-by-day, month-
by-month, year-by-year.
Do you see what this meansallthese pioneers who blazed theway, all these veterans cheeringus on? It means wed better geton with it. Strip down, startrunningand never quit! Noextra spiritual fat, no parasiticsins. Keep your eyes on Jesus,who both began and finished this
race were in. Study how hedid it. Because he never lostsight of where he was
headedthat exhilaratingfinish in and with Godhecould put up with anythingalong the way: Cross,shame, whatever. (Hebrews12:1-2 The Message)
One of the cool things
about many people at FCC
is that they have been
walking with Jesus for
years and even decades.
There are deep people
here who are not just a
flash in the pan.
A New Generation of Media Team Members
SMALL GROUPS - 9:30 Sundays there
are two adult groups meeting for
fellowship and study.
CROSS - Its all about the cross and
what Jesus did for us there - no matter
what our age.
CHAT - Robyn & Tammy spending some
time visiting while the youth do their
thing.

As a result, I believe we
have seen multiple
generations of people
step up, in part, because
they have seen longterm
faithfulness in older
people. We have some
young people who are
making adult-level
commitments to service,
fellowship, and
investment here at FCC.
I commend you to follow
their example.
Resurrection SundayIt isnt too early to start
thinking about who you
will invite to share this
special day with you
(April 8th). The youth have
been practicing a powerful
drama for many weeks and
the children are starting to
learn their songs as well. Itwill be a great chance to
bring a friend to breakfast,
then the kids Easter egg
hunt, and finally a worship
service that will clearly lay
out the Good News.
