Psalms 51:12, 13“Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.Then I will teach transgressors thy ways;
and sinners shall be converted unto thee.”
So many today in churches all across America have losttheir joy and are not ready to admit it has happened. Thegood news I bear is that joy can be restored. The word
“restore” itself implies that it is something that the Psalmistonce had and needed to recover. To “restore” can mean “tobring back into a normal or former condition.” When onerestores an old automobile, it means the owner seeks to bringthe automobile back as close as is possible, to what it waswhen it was new.
Let us look at several things in regard to the restoration ofjoy. The Christian does not ask God to return his salvation, forhe never lost it, but rather his request is for joy. The Christianwho has lost his joy is a pitiful sight. Amen!
The Repentant Response. Psalms 51:1-6 says, “ Have mercyupon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness: accordingunto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgres-sions. {2} Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, andcleanse me from my sin. {3} For I acknowledge my transgres-sions: and my sin is ever before me. {4} Against thee, theeonly, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thoumightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear whenthou judgest. {5} Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sindid my mother conceive me. {6} Behold, thou desirest truth in
the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me toknow wisdom.”
Brags on the Lord. Psalms 51:1 says, “Have mercy upon me,O God, according to thy loving kindness: according unto themultitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.”Amen!
Confessed his sin. Psalms 51:1-4 says, “Have mercy uponme, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according untothe multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.{2} Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse mefrom my sin. {3} For I acknowledge my transgressions: andmy sin is ever before me. {4} Against thee, thee only, have Isinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest bejustified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.”Amen!
He was confronted with sin and came to himself. TheRequest For Restoration. Psalms 51:12 says, “Restore unto methe joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.”Amen! No one ever recovers lost joy until there is a request forits return.” Amen!
Note several things about this request. It is earnest. Hemeant business with God, crying out of desperation. It isexpectant. He would never ask God to restore his joy if he didnot believe that God would do it. It is expressive. The Psalmistknew his joy was gone. He did not deny the reality of his con-dition. It expresses what the Psalmist knew about his inner life.
The Reasons For The Request. Why did the Psalmist askthe Lord to restore his joy? Sin and disobedience had run itscourse in David’s life through his sin with Bathsheba, who wasthe wife of Uriah the Hittite. Rebellion, adultery and murder
had caused tremendous problems in the life of the Psalmist. Hewas tired of sin and its consequences.
Teaching what? One who has joy restored will teach trans-gressors the way of God. The result will be sinners gettingsaved. Psalms 51:13 says, “Then will I teach transgressors thyways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.” Amen!
Have you experienced the joy of Salvation? Have you lostthe joy of your Salvation? If you answered yes to either ofthese questions let me say that joy can be received throughJesus Christ, and joy can be restored through Him as well.Sin hardens. Hard hearted people are certainly not joyful peo-
ple. Sin hinders. One loses his joy when there is unconfessedsin, because it grieves the Holy Ghost, who produces joy in theheart of every believer. Sin handicaps! It so cripples one’s lifethat he or she cannot think right, walk right, or feel right.
The Results Of Restoration There are two major results inthe context of our two text verses. The result will be saints teaching. Psalms 51:13 says, “Then
will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be con-verted unto thee.” Teaching what? One who has joy restoredwill teach transgressors the way of God. The result will be sin-ners getting saved. Psalms 51:13 “Then will I teach transgres-sors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.”Amen!
Have you experienced the joy of Salvation? Have you lostthe joy of your Salvation? If you answered yes to either ofthese questions let me say that joy can be received throughJesus Christ, and joy can be restored through Him as well. Now you know how to restore your joy through salvation.Amen!

Brown Sugar Smokies
A Dream Deferredby Langston Hughes
What happens to a dreamdeferred?
Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun? Or fester like a sore--
And then run? Does it stink like rotten
meat? Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?

Feb. 2012 - February of each year is BlackHistory Month and honors the contributionsof African-Americans throughout ournation’s past.
Since 1976, every February, in the UnitedStates and in Canada, we pause to celebrateBlack History Month. When Carter G.Woodson started Negro History Week in1926, his purpose was for the history ofAfrican Americans to be considered a moresignificant part of American history as awhole and to educate Blacks about their cul-tural background, and to instill in them asense of pride in their race. According to his-torian John Hope Franklin, Woodson “con-tinued to express hope that Negro HistoryWeek would outlive its usefulness.”
At church services and in school districtsall over this city, state and country picturesof Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Rosa Parks,George Washington Carver, Leotyne Price,Mahalia Jackson, Michael Jordan, MichaelJackson, Garrett Morgan, Dr. Charles Drew,Congresswoman Barbara Jordan, TigerWoods, Thurgood Marshall, and since 2008,President Barack Obama, just to name a fewcan be found hanging in church sanctuariesand on bulletin boards in classrooms. But itseems that once the month of Februarycomes to an end, the posters, pictures andfacts come down and we go back to businessas usual. Some scholars argue that, “BlackHistory Month has become a ready-madeexcuse to ignore African American historyfor the other 11 months of the year”, thuspromoting racism. We must never forgetCarter Woodson’s vision for the role heplayed in African American history. SomeAfrican Americans do have a tendency toignore our history the other 11 months of theyear. It’s as if February is the only time weare proud of our heritage and who we are. It’s not just one month out of every year,Americans should commemorate theachievements of black people throughout the
year, not just the month of February.
Woodson believed that we as a peoplewould make a commitment to explore, learnand make history to the extent that it wouldbe a part of our everyday life. Why can’tevery day African Americans take in theknowledge in their homes and into theircommunities and make this world a betterplace in which to live.
Great African Americans are being bornevery day; not just in February, and thatbeing the case, we should remember to cele-brate our heritage every day.
American historian Carter G. Woodsonestablished Black History Week to com-memorate and celebrate the contributions toour nation made by people of Africandescent. The first celebration occurred onFebruary 12, 1926. He believed that truthcould not be denied and that reason wouldprevail over prejudice. His hopes to raiseawareness of African Americans‘ contribu-tions to civilization was realized when heand the organization he founded, theAssociation for the Study of Negro Life andHistory (ASNLH), conceived andannounced Negro History Week in 1925.
For many years, the second week ofFebruary was set aside for the celebration tocoincide with the birthdays of
abolitionist/editor Frederick Douglass andAbraham Lincoln. In 1976, as part of thenation’s bicentennial, the week wasexpanded into Black History Month. Eachyear, U.S. presidents proclaim February asNational African-American History Month.
By the time of Woodson’s death in 1950,Negro History Week had become a centralpart of African American life and substan-tial progress had been made in bringingmore Americans to appreciate the celebra-tion. At mid–century, mayors of citiesnationwide issued proclamations notingNegro History Week. The Black awaken-ing of the 1960s dramatically expanded theconsciousness of African Americans aboutthe importance of black history, and theCivil Rights movement focused Americansof all color on the subject of the contribu-tions of African Americans to our historyand culture.
The celebration was expanded to a monthin 1976, the nation’s bicentennial.President Gerald R. Ford urged Americansto “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of blackAmericans in every area of endeavorthroughout our history.” That year, fiftyyears after the first celebration, the associa-tion held the first African American HistoryMonth. By this time, the entire nation had

If you are Old School, then you watched or danced tothe TV show “Soul Train”. I know because I learneda few steps back in the day from that show. But
most importantly, you know the voice who said at theend of every show “We wish you love, peace, and soul”,Mr. Don Cornelius, an American icon.
Don Cornelius, the smooth-voiced television host whobrought black music and culture into America’s livingrooms when he created the dance show “Soul Train,”was found dead at his home in Los Angeles earlyWednesday in what appeared to be a suicide, the author-ities said. He was 75.
Police officers responding to a report of a shootingfound Mr. Cornelius’ body at 4 a.m. on the floor of hishouse on Mulholland Drive with a gunshot wound to thehead. It appeared to have been self-inflicted, said EdWinter, the Los Angeles County assistant chief coroner.
Mr. Cornelius was taken to Cedars-Sinai MedicalCenter, where he was pronounced dead. The police saidthey had ruled out murder and were talking to relativesabout Mr. Cornelius’ mental state.
Don Cornelius of Soul Train made a great contributionto American culture. It came directly from the AfricanAmerican community. It was more than a TV danceshow; it was a source of pride and dignity for the AfricanAmerican community. There were hardly any venues atthat time, especially on television that would giveAfrican American artists any exposure, includingAmerican Bandstand.American Bandstand was a dance show, but it basical-
ly concentrated on Caucasian people. They had a fewblack artists on from time to time. Soul Train was some-thing that the African American community firstembraced — and it’s always good to see AfricanAmerican people on TV — but then it spread to becomea national and an international phenomenon.Soul Train not only became a community — something
that gave the African American community a lot of pride— but it became a strong economic engine for the totalmusic industry. Soul Train became so popular thatartists like Elton John, David Bowie and the Bee Geeswanted to be the show. By that time it had gone farbeyond the color barrier this country has embraced forso long.Soul Train, one of the longest-running syndicated
shows in television history, played a critical role inspreading the music of black America to the world, offering wide exposure to musicians like James Brown,Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson inthe 1970s and ’80s. “Soul Train created an outlet for black artists that never
would have been if it hadn’t been for Don Cornelius,”said Kenny Gamble, who with his partner, Leon Huff, created the Philly soul sound and wrote the theme songfor the show. It was a tremendous export from Americato the world, that showed African-American life and thejoy of music and dance, and it brought people together. Mr. Cornelius, a former disc jockey, created Soul Train
in 1970 for the Chicago television station WCIU andserved as its writer, producer and host. When it becamea local sensation, he moved the show to Los Angeles andbegan broadcasting nationally in 1971, beginning a 35-year run in syndication.
In its heyday, it was a formative experience everySaturday morning for young people of all backgroundsand afforded some of the most important soul and R&Bacts their first national television exposure. It was alsoa platform for white rock musicians like Elton John andDavid Bowie to reach black audiences. Beyond music, Soul Train showcased dances and cloth-
ing styles then popular among young blacks. It laid thegroundwork for dance programs like Fox’s “So youThink you Can Dance” and MTV’s “America’s Best

“ChristianStewardship”
John 9:4
First of all; what is stewardship?Stewardship means that one hasbeen put over the operation of
another persons holding, or possessions. Not only to be in charge, but to build orproduce more than was turned over tohim.
In John 9:4 Jesus tells of his own per-sonal purpose and what He must do, butmore than that He gives us direction ofwhat we should be about who will be withHim in the Kingdom. This is a declara-tion, which identifies work of theChristian and its purpose.
We are all called by God to do a cer-tain work within Kingdom building, butwe must recognize that calling andrespond to it by working the works of Himwho sends us out. The next part of thisstatement: “ While it is day,” suggests tous that there are restrictions as to the timewe have to do this work. When we lookat the word “Day”: speaking in the con-text it means opportunity.
you see, we only have the opportuni-ty to do a lot of things during daylighthours, seeing without obstructions.Daylight hours only last for a certain timeduring a 24-hour period, so, it is impor-tant that we work diligently while the sunis up in order that we might be able to see
what we are doing. you see when thingsare going well with us, we must not forgetthat things will not always be well, therewill be some dark hours, so, we should doall we can while we are able to do them.you know, we are always tempted to for-get what comes after a sunny “Day”. Weforget that the sun will not always be highin the sky and always shining. Once theday is gone it cannot be recalled again, so,we must work as much as we can that
Day. Our lives will not go on forever, sowe must work His will while we have theopportunity to work His works. Too manygood deeds go undone, many kind wordsgo unsaid, too many great potentials gountested, and simply because of opportu-nities we failed to capitalize on. Many ofus misuse our sunlight. We simply wastesunlight being idle. Today will never beagain, it cannot be recalled, so we mustwork while it is “Day”: Jesus makes thisstatement so as to bring about a sense ofurgency to our minds, it was meant to be achallenge to us that we might understandthe importance of doing the best we canwhile we can. Our potential to servedepends upon the willingness to takeadvantage of opportunities.
We as Laymen in the church shouldwork to save our young men while wehave the opportunity to do so. you knowwhat most of us think? We think workingin the church is the work we should bedoing. yes, we should work in the church, but let us not get it mixed up with thework of the church. you hear people saythings like, “ sing for the Lord child”,She/he should not be singing for the Lord, the Lord does not need your singing, andHe needs your willingness to work hisworks. Whatever we do in the church oron the church grounds should be for praiseonly. When we give praise to God onSunday morning, because that’s the onlytime some of us go anyway – that’s whatwe should do to let God know that weappreciate what He has already done forus as an individual. That’s not working forGod that’s praising God.
When you help someone who cannothelp him or herself or when you lead oth-ers to Christ, then we are working while itis “Day”. When night cometh no man canwork. Night means Days end. It’s going tocome no matter what happens. Our daywill end some dark night, so, let’s workwhile it is “Day”!
Let us not forget to read our Bibles.May God bless you real good, and may Heever keep you in His loving care.

Dear Dr. Hollie,
Ihave a niece and nephewwho are 8 and 9 years old.I don’t have any kids, but I
love to have them over when Ican. When they play alone, sometimes they pretend to bemother and child. The onlything is that my nephew isalways the mommy. I didn’t pay muchattention to this because my sister is asingle parent; their father has not been intheir lives since my nephew (the oldest)was three. However, last weekend, theywere playing and I went into the roomwhere they were and my nephew hadgotten into my shoes and make-up. NowI’m a little nervous. He’s old enough toknow those things are for girls. I didn’tsay anything to him because I didn’twant to shame him. I just told them toget cleaned up so we could go. I don’tknow how or if I should address this. Idon’t know if I should tell his mombecause I don’t know what her reaction
will be. I don’t want hergetting upset with him. What do you think?
Confused or Just Playing
Dear Confused,
I am just like you. I don’tknow if he was confused orjust playing, but moreimportantly, I think that you
need to share this info with his motherand allow her an opportunity to figureout which one she thinks it is and act orreact accordingly.

Have you ever
known someone
who had a poverty
mentality? you can usually
tell by the words he or she
speaks. It is an attitude that
never expects anything
above and beyond its cur-
rent reality. People with
a poverty mind-set are
content and satisfied
with lack and insuffi-
ciency, even when it is
clearly destroying their
lives. Their surroundings, attitude, words, and deci-
sions reflect a way of thinking that does not trust God
for provision. As a result, they continue to experience
poverty in many areas of their lives.
Poverty involves lack, and it is not limited to the
financial realm. Anytime we are lacking something
in an area of our lives, poverty is present. A person
can be poor where his or her relationships are con-
cerned, or even mentally and emotionally. If people
are lacking good health, they are poor where their
physical condition is concerned. you see, poverty is
designed to affect and infect all aspects of the human
experience, which is why the enemy wants to keep
people in the dark about what God has made avail-
able to them through His Word.
When lack and poverty govern the way we think,
our outer circumstances will reflect that inward
state of being, and we will make choices that only
push us further into poverty. Third John 2 says that
as our spirit and soul are prospering, our physical
condition will prosper as well. The key to a life of
prosperity is to develop an inner image of it, which
only comes by way of the Word of God. When we
take the Word and meditate on it constantly, it
becomes rooted in our spirits, and the result is a
changed mind-set. When the Word is the absolute
governing force in our lives, the abundant life will
be seen in our outward circumstances. There will be
no doubt in anyone’s mind that we are living the
blessed life.
God’s desire for us to prosper and not be in lack is
not just so we can live the good life. He wants us to
be so filled and overflowing with abundant life that
we have a surplus of blessings to bestow upon others.
Whether it is financial and material resources, wis-
dom, love, healing, or deliverance, we can impact
others more effectively when our lives are free from
poverty.
Take some time to examine your life and locate
areas where poverty has gotten a foothold. Change
your thinking by renewing your mind with God’s
Word. As your thinking changes, your feelings, deci-
sions, and actions will follow suit. As your soul pros-
pers, so will your life!

“Out of Egypt”Ex.115:1-3,19,22-26, was theaccounting ofIsrael being deliv-
ered out ofbondage after the400 years thatGod revealed to
Abraham concerning his seed. This les-son was a confidence builder for any-one who have ever been in trouble andthought God was taking too long toanswer their prayer. As we saw in thelife of many of the Old TestamentPatriots that sometimes the Lord worksslow but he works good. In the finalverse of the lesson we see God settingforth his conditions for his blessings.Israel like many wants a miracle with-out obedience to God. But throughoutthe Bible it is clearly seen that God ismore concerned about obedience to hisword that anything else. The Messageof the morning was delivered by PastorMorgan from the subject “Living a
Joyous Christian life” Ecc.2:24-26.Solomon makes it clear that not onlywere blessings from God, but even theenjoyment of the blessings were God’sgift to us. He considered it “evil” if aperson had all the blessings of life fromGod but could not enjoy them. It iseasy to see why the Jewish people readEcclesiastes at the Feast of Tabernacles, for Tabernacles is their great time ofthanksgiving and rejoicing for God’sabundant provision of their needs. Theimportant thing is that we seek to pleasethe Lord and trust Him to meet everyneed. God wants to give us wisdom, knowledge, and joy; these three giftsenable us to appreciate God’s blessingsand take pleasure in them. It is notenough to possess “things”; we mustalso possess the kind of character thatenables us to use “things” wisely andenjoy them properly. Apart from God,there can be no true enjoyment of bless-ings or enrichment of life. It is good tohave the things that money can buy, provided you don’t lose the things thatmoney can’t buy.Be Blessed

Romans 8:26.Verse 27 says “He that searcheth the heartsknoweth what the mind of the spirit is”. I sug-gest that it is better to have a heart and nowords, than to have words and no heart.

The script is set, Super BowlXLVI will soon be a reality. If it’s as great as the many
story lines it presents it’ll be anexceptional game.
Story lines as I said are plenti-ful, will Brady and Belichick be
the coach quarterback combination to win the mostSuper Bowl. Terry Bradshaw, Chuck Knowles three, JoeMontana, Bill Walsh three.
That seems more appropriate than will Tom Brady bethe greatest quarterback ever. A title we try to giveeveryone that achieves anything.
If the New york Giants win, will Tom Coughlin haveBill Belichick number in the big games.
Are these two coaches the Tom Landry and VinceLombardi of this generation. Those are a few of the sto-rylines that will draw a lot of attention.
Some, if not all are about as relevant as Barry Switzeruse to say “ a molecule in the universe”.
If things go as I expect Tom Brady will probably try
and establish a running game to keep the Giants fromusing their NASCAR package. The NASCAR forma-tion is the four down linemen are all defensive end.Bringing a lot of speed inside and out. Tom Bradydoesn’t throw as well with trash around his feet as he
use to. Trash is an NFL term for player on the ground. That’s a problem most quarterbacks have that’s hadlower body injuries ankle’s, Knee’s etc. By the Giantschoosing to use speed you sacrifice size thus the Patriotcould get a running game going.
That, would be under normal conditions a way to suc-ceed against a team like the Giants. If they’re successfulrunning, and the Giants have to bring anther body in thebox, then Brady can find those huge Tightends and hecan find little Wes Welker in the slot.
That’s basically the same game plan for the Giants, but that type offense is more in the Giants DNA. That’sthe giants game plan regardless the opponent. ThePatriots, although they run a three man front theirdefense is much more capable of stopping the run withthe much larger down linemen. That opinion is notshared by a lot of people.
If these plans a thwarted by either team now you haveto go to the quarterback. I think Eli Manning is morecapable of improvisation than Tom Brady, because one
he’s bigger and stronger, and he’s never been seriouslyinjured. Tom on the other hand play more according to ascript or what develops before the snap.( defensive for-mation) Also the Giants as before mentioned are designto whip quarterbacks.
In the modern era these are as good a coaching staffsas there are in the league. If there’s an edge, I’ll give thatto Bill Belichick. I don’t think New England will makethe stupid mistakes that the Giants and the DallasCowboys have on many occasions made. Since I’m anNFC east guy I’ll pick the Giants. Plus I hope I’m wrongbut I think Brady is showing a little fear could be injuries

come to recognize the importance of Black history in thedrama of the American story. Since then each Americanpresident has issued African American History Monthproclamations. And the association—now theAssociation for the Study of African American Life andHistory (ASALH)—continues to promote the study ofBlack history all year.
The U.S. Census Bureau released data Wednesdayindicating 13.6 percent of Americans identify asAfrican-American.
The report — released on the first day of BlackHistory Month — indicated the nation’s black popula-tion, as recorded in the 2010 census, is 42 million. Thereare 2.4 million black military veterans.
Eighteen percent (18%) of blacks 25 or older have abachelor’s degree or higher; and 2.9 million currentlyattend college, an increase of 1.7 million since 1990.
The report said 44.2 percent of households with ablack homeowner live in owner-occupied homes.
The total receipts of black-owned businesses, as of2007, were $135.7 billion, up 53.1 percent from 2002.
This year’s theme “Black Women in AmericanCulture and History” honors African American womenand the myriad of roles they played in the shaping of ournation. The theme, chosen by the Association for theStudy of African American Life and History urges allAmericans to study and reflect on the value of their con-tribution to the nation.
Maya Angelou, an American activist hopes that therewill come a time when this celebration will no longer benecessary to explain the contribution of the African-Americans.
We as a African American people should not only cel-ebrate Black History Month for one month but celebrateand teach our children about our heritage and our histo-ry throughout the year, and apply it to our everyday livesand live and behave like the Kings and Queens God cre-ated us to be!http://www.floridablackhistory.com/facts.cfmhttp://www.census.gov

Dance Crew.” Born on Chicago’s South Side on September 27, 1936,
Mr. Cornelius had an early craving to go into broadcast-ing. He graduated from DuSable High School in 1954,did a stint in the Marine Corps and then returned toChicago to marry a childhood sweetheart, DeloresHarrison. They had two sons, Anthony and Raymond, who are among his survivors. In 1966, he gave up a career selling insurance and cars
to take a three-month broadcast course, despite havingyoung children to feed. With his deep baritone, he land-ed a job as a substitute disc jockey at WVON in Chicagoand later as a sports anchor on the television program “ABlack’s View of the News.” He produced the Soul Trainpilot with $400 of his own money, taking the title froma road show he had created for local high schools.
“Soul Train was developed as a radio show on televi-sion”, Mr. Cornelius told The New york Times in 1995.“It was the radio show that I always wanted and neverhad. I selected the music, and still do, by simply seeingwhat had chart success.” He said the show was originally patterned on Dick
Clark’s “American Bandstand,” but with a focus onblack music, fashion and dance. “There was not pro-gramming that targeted any particular ethnicity,” he toldThe Associated Press in 2006. “I’m trying to useeuphemisms here; trying to avoid saying there was no
television for black folks, which they knew was forthem.”
Mr. Don Cornelius will always be remembered inBlack History as the man behind Soul Train.
Welcome to theweekend, Baby! Theweek was really goingwell, when shortlybefore my deadline, Igot the news that DonCornelius was dead, at75. Then I discoveredthat he’d shot him-self...That lead me to
many questionsabout the man whowe invited into ourhomes as kids...Being a nativeChicagoan, I sawSoul Train before itwent national onour local UHFChannel 26WCIU. I remem-ber that hot littlenon-air conditioned studio that gave birthto one of the quintessential shows of ageneration...It was “OUR” AmericanBandstand. That 1st show back in 1970was all about Chicago, with “local”artists The Emotions, Chi-Lites and JerryButler! I wanted to see the older Don, soI went to youtube... If you visit myFacebook page(Search and friend meunder Kevan Browning), you will see aninterview Don did with another Chicagolegend Herb Kent, “The CoolGent”...The thing that stood out to me inwatching Don’s later year interviews, isthat he seemed depressed, joyless...Iwon’t go over his life story, you can readthat on the net, but I must say hedeserved a better end. Who will ever for-get...”And you can bet your money, it’sall gonna be a stone gas, honey! I’m DonCornelius, and as always in parting, wewish you love, peace and soul!” R.I.P.Don Cornelius and thanks for blessing uswith your style, substance and dream!Big ups to BET for banning NikkiMinaj’s, “Stupid Hoe” video... Besidesstealing the beat from lil Mama’s “LipGloss” song, lots of little kids peep thesevideos...Low class, just get’s lower andlower and lower...Good luck toDeAngelo whose trying to make a come-back after 10 years outta the spotlight...
DeAngelo fell from an Amsterdam stagebefore his performance this week and isrecovering hopefully away from thseAmsterdam cafe’s...Prayers for PaulAnthony of the R&B/Hip Hop group FullForce...Paul the most buffed of the groupis battling cancer. On a brighter note, 1stlater Michelle Obama is taking heat forreportedly going on a 50,000 Lingerieshopping Spree in New york. Mythought? keep the President happy andshake the haters off, lol! By the way, TheDow Jones stock market had it’s biggestJanuary in the last 10, count ‘em TENyears! Congrat’s President Obama! When we look at our 401K’s, 403B’s andother assorted retirement accounts, wewant to see BLACK and not r-e-d! Moveover Real housewives ofwherever,lol...The TLC Network hasplans for a new series called “1stLadies”...They are starting with the
wives of someprominent AtlantaG a .preachers...Word isthat neither BishopEddie Long’s wife, nor ProphetessJuanita Bynumwill be in themix....Finally, I’m
looking forwardto Super Bowl 46this Sunday.Despite a few
invitations, I’ll be stretched out in frontof my own TV after Church! HopefullyDFW resident/American Idol star KellyClarkson hits all the right notes on TheNational Anthem and Madonna has nowardrobe malfunctions during her half-time show...The matchup between theNy Giants and New England Patriotsmay even live up to the excellent TVcommercials..Let’s hope so!
