The FedEx Authorised ShipCentreProgrammeFedEx Authorised ShipCentres provide customers with a fast,easy and convenient way to send their International Expressparcels. FedEx Authorised ShipCentres are an integral part of the FedEx Express network, the world’s largest expresstransportation network.

The FedEx Authorised ShipCentre programme forms a network of retail partners offering customers increased access points to ship their International Shipments with FedEx Express. This service provides customers with the capability to ship at convenient locations and times that suits their needs.

By participating, both FedEx Express and our retail partners are able to attract a wider range of customers, ranging from the ad-hoc shipper through to small and medium sized businesses.

The programme allows many businesses who provide other services to develop new revenue streams, opening opportunities for increased footfall and cross-selling of their existing portfolio of services. When you have completed packing your shipment,an instore representative will check that you havethe correct documentation to support your shipment.Once your shipment is ready to go, you will then beadvised of the cost, and payment can be made.

FedEx Authorised ShipCentre Programme Requirements:Participating locations must have:

Location:

• A retail storefront and a designated customer counter for receiving packages

• Provide FedEx Express packaging at no charge

• Sell and ship a minimum average of one FedEx Express package a day

• Accept FedEx Express packages dropped off by FedEx Express account holders at no charge to the customer

• Maintain an account in good financial standing with FedEx Express

Storage space:

• Space to store flat pack packaging

• Secure space to store completed parcels

Opening hours:

• Provide regular business hours of operation, Monday through to Friday

• Saturday hours are optional

Customer experience:

• Provide all customers with a receipt and FedEx Express tracking number

Technical requirements:

• High speed internet access

• PC and Printer (minimum: 300 DPI inkjet or laser)

• Use a FedEx approved electronic shipping system to process shipments, such as FedEx Ship Manager®
