Feedback of Fourth Draft

Page 2: Feedback of Fourth Draft

I was told to use this picture as my front cover and see how it looks. I will do this by taking the model out the background and placing it in my original front cover.

This is the magnetic lasso tool which will allow me to take her out the background

Page 3: Feedback of Fourth Draft

<<<<< After I take her out the background this is what it will look like. This is the spot healing tool which I will use next. it allows me to take any blemishes away and to make the model flawless

I will then copy her and paste onto my front cover. I will delete my other image of the model in order to place this on.

Page 4: Feedback of Fourth Draft

This it what it will look like after I paste the image onto the cover. There are a lot of errors made.

The title ‘FRESH’ has been rubbed out in the shape of the other image used so doesn’t fit the new image used. Also the text is underneath the model so it doesn’t show. The background also looks unrealistic.

Page 5: Feedback of Fourth Draft

To correct these errors I deleted the existing title and made a new title and rubbed it out in the shape of the new image.

It will look like this and the next step is just to erase around her head so the model can overlap the title in order to stand out.

This is what it will look like after it has been rubbed out.

To bring the writing forward and model backwards I will go to layers on the right hand bar. Then click the model layer and drag it to the bottom BUT not all the way to the bottom as it will bring the background forward and the model behind. So I will place it on top of the background I made. This will solve the error.

This is the model layer and I have clicked on it.

I dragged it in between the two layers of ‘TREY SONGZ’ and layer 1 which is my background.

Page 7: Feedback of Fourth Draft

It will look like this after

However I still need the background to look realistic to do this I will:-Duplicate the model layer-Gaussian blur the image-Rub out the image except for the edges to make it blur into the background in order for it to look realistic

Page 8: Feedback of Fourth Draft

1. To duplicate my model layer I will go on the right hand side bar and right click on the model layer and press duplicate layer

2. A box will then appear like the one shown below. I then clicked ok

Page 9: Feedback of Fourth Draft

4. To gaussian blur I stayed on the new layer

5. Then went filter>>blur>>gaussian blur from the toolbar

A box will appear asking how much blurred you want the image to be

You can pick by dragging the little arrow pointing up left or right. Left for less blur and right for more blur

Or you can just type a number in and it will show how blurred it goes

Page 10: Feedback of Fourth Draft

I blurred it to 9.9 and pressed ok. This is what it looked like:

As you can see the face and dressing doesn’t show as much now. This is why I have to rub the blur out from the face and dress.

Page 11: Feedback of Fourth Draft

This is what it looks like after it has been rubbed out. The background looks more realistic. Now all errors have been dealt with. However after getting feedback from people there are a few changes to be made.

Page 12: Feedback of Fourth Draft

They are:

Add back shadow to make text clearer

Cover up white space

Page 13: Feedback of Fourth Draft

I will add a white back shadow and to fill up white space I will rearrange the text. I will move ‘EMINEM WARNS MARIAH CAREY EMINEM DISSES MARIAH ON HIS LATEST TRACK’ and ‘TREY SONGZ HOW NEW ALBUM READY’ around
