Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent is one of the greatest fashion names of the late 20th century. Throughout the years, the groundbreaking designs of the Couture house created innovative pieces ofclothing.

Yves Saint Laurent was the firstCouture house to launch, in 1966, the modern concept of luxury women's prêt-à-porter, in acollection called « Rive Gauche ». It was followed in 1969 by a « Rive Gauche » men's ready-to-wear line. The Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche boutiques were soon opened throughout the world, allowing fashion-conscious working individu-als to wear the Yves Saint Laurent designs. This represented the first step in making luxury labelsaccessible to a wider public.

In 1999, the Gucci Group (the luxury division of the PPR Group) acquired Yves Saint Laurent. Since then the brand has been repositioned at the top end of the luxury goods markets. Under the management of Valérie Hermann, appointed CEO in 2005, and Stefano Pilati, Creative Director since 2004, the brand has renewed the exceptional legacy of its founder while bringing a contemporary approach to its collections, which combine elegance, top-quality fabrics, refined and discreet butrecognizable details.

Today Yves Saint Laurent'scollections include women's and

men's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, scarves, ties and eyewear. They are designed for both modern women who have a keen sense of freedom and follow their instincts with assurance, captivating others with their elegance, as well as men who prefer a nonconformist look and assert the different facets of their personality in a modern andsensitive way.

The Yves Saint Laurent network currently has 63 directly-operated stores, including flagship stores in Paris, New York, London, Milan, Hong Kong and Tokyo. The brand is also present in the most prestigious multi-brand boutiques anddepartment stores in the world.

It's not easy to circumscribe the Dolce & Gabbana universe within a definition. Dolce & Gabbana was founded in 1982 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. A world made up of sensations, traditions, culture and aMediterranean nature.

Domenico Dolce and StefanoGabbana have made a trademark of their surnames which is known throughout the world, easilyrecognizable thanks to its glamour and great versatility. TwoDesigners who have known how to make a flag out of their Italiancharacter, while defining how tointerpret and impose their sensual and unique style on aworld-wide basis.

The Dolce & Gabbana man is strong: he likes himself and knows he is liked. At his ease, he dresses for himself, a little hedonistic he pays considerable attention to details. He loves everything that doesn’t schematize him. He’s free and he’s successful. He can go to the office wearing an impeccable pinstripe suit or equally with worn out jeans and blazer. He’s a man

who lays down the rules, he’s not subjected to them. Exuding charisma, he imposes histraditions by wearing the cap, the waistcoat and the timeless white T-shirt vest. Dolce & Gabbana is a great line for the trendsettingmale.

Dolce & Gabbana has two central lines: Dolce&Gabbana (with no spaces) specializes in more luxury items that responds to long-term trends rather than seasonal; and D&G, the second line, is more casual line that follows the urbaninspiration.

BEHIND THE CULTURE Big Cartel“ORDINARY PEOPLE DOING EXTRAORDINARY THINGS”

Ordinary people with drive, determination, and discipline! They are stopping at nothing to pursue their dreams.

Be inspired by their work ethic and the 3 P’s:Patience, Perseverance, and Persistence.

With the emergence of technology and resources, you no longer have to beAlexander McQueen, Julien Macdonald, or Johhny Cupcakes to have a lucrative fashion line.

Honestly, all you need issupport and Big Cartel!

The site www.BigCartel.com allows designers, jewelry makers, and other artists to set up shop and customize their own online stores.

Page 15: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

The easy navigation of Big Cartel for consumers is ideal too. With a directory, people can scroll, by store and category to find what they are looking for. Purchasing works just like high retail stores or sites, with individuals adding items to a shopping cart and making payments once they are done shopping.

Big Cartel is an individual’s dream. Most of the artists who sell on the site, sell one of kind, or a limited quantity of pieces. Buying from an artist listed on Big Cartel, for the most part guarantees individualism and expressionism. Consequentially, it seems like everything the artists design or make are personal, reflective of their culture—whatever it may be. From the graffiti plastered trains in New York or Chicago, or the pastel colors of a field of flowers in rural Georgia, artists on Big Cartel stay true to self and design or sell what they know.

Big Cartel gives the little person, a big opportunity. It allows the unique individual to totally dismiss conformity, and but most importantly, it showcases inspiration.

Nature is my inspiration. It's amazing to observe the beauty of nature and the unseen forces that are responsible for it. There is a certain curiosity that arises within me when thinking about these unseen forces. In studying science, one can see the intriguing and detailed processes up close like pollination or a tree growing from a tiny seed. This inspires me because I know there is a driving force and hard work behind these processes and such is the way life works; invest the hard work and you will see the fruits of your labor.

It's an art of balance. Short shorts and combat boots. Oversizedhoodie and a floral mini skirt. Baggy clothes and a pair of cutelittle red peep toe wedges. I don't dress by "what's in", I wear what Ilike: It's me and I make it work.

ALL SWAGNO SUBSTANCEOur greatest task is to become our greatest selves. It is a lifelong project; one that, if done correctly, raises as many questions as it answers. As we evolve towards greatness, we eventually realize that it is a perpetual task. Perfection is elusive. That is no excuse, however, to lose sight of the vision.

Those visions we create—whether we call them dreams, goals, wishes, or futures-are maps into ourselves, answers to the infinite question, “What is the meaning of life?” Quite simply, the meaning of your life is to bring that dream to fruition.

Let me rephrase that less pretentiously: the meaning of your life is to make it meaning-ful. It is hard work, and the fruit of your labor is more unanswered questions and even harder work. Just because it is diffi-cult, though, doesn’t mean you’re excusedfrom doing it.

Those visions you handcrafted with your friends in college—you know, the ones you fantasized about in the shower, as you pretended to be on Oprah doing interviews as your haters watched enviously from their studio apartments—they weren’t just child’s play. They were valid affirmations of your purpose in life. Sure, they were bold. Maybe even slightly unrealistic. That’s the entire point—you were designed to make waves. It’s your job is to leave your Vuitton-toting, Lamborghini-whipping impressionon this world.

But don’t get it twisted—you are far more than a face and an image. You are a whole person. Looking good is an essential piece of the puzzle; I won’t lie. Behind that pretty face, though, there needs to be a whole being, one who is deeper than the latest popbuzz and fashion trends.

Who are you when the clothes come off and you’re all alone? What dreams do you have for your life and future? How is your life going to impact the world? The answers to these questions are just as—scratch that, more—important than what you look like and what you wear. People will find out if you’re artificial real. Popularity is a trend for teenagers; influence is the key tolongevity.

Let me re-rephrase that for y’all: don’t play yourselves by being all swag, no substance.

MAKOHometown: Swindon, United KingdomBorn in France and lived in the outskirts of Paris until the age of 6, we then moved (me, my brother and mother) to Belgium where we lived for a year and a half. This is when we moved to Swindon in 1998. I've since moved to London (2009) to go to the university and to study BA Fashion Textiles.

Inspiration: I get inspired by a lot of random things, new places, train stations, I get inspiration whilst swimming, it clears my mind and helps me develop ideas, I enjoy looking at nature, something used to hate growing up in a rural area, but have come to love and appreciate.

I was drawn to The Wild Thornburrys at the time so I wanted to look at inspiration from the film, but my teacher wasn't too sure so I looked at Harriet Chalm-ers Adams, she's an explorer, writer and photographer to keep with the wild theme

I thought I'd look at exotic animals by going to the zoo but before going I went to Regents Park and I was inspired by British birds instead. I wanted to keep it still fun and animated. I also wanted to look at different styles, more clean and graphics but also animated but then a sort of drawn style. I think as a designer/artist, I can get a little sidetracked and want to explore so much and do lots of different styles, so it's always good to have someone who can make you more focused.

Page 32: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

am Sabrina Boyett.Twenty-three years of age. Born and raised inIndianapolis, IN. In high school I always felt the need to look different. Simple

things bothered me, and I’d go out of my way to stand out. I’d go in and out of stores hoping to fulfill a specific look that I thought of, and I’d always leave the stores disappointed. At that point, I started making things, orrecreating what I already owned. I decided that I wanted to go to school for fashion design.

My father wasn’t pleased with my decision, but I didn’t care. I moved to Chicago, and began my life as a college student at The Illinois Institute of Art in October 2007. A few months into the program I decided to switch my major to marketing andmanagement. I made this decision based on the fact that I’d have more career opportunities once I graduated.

In the midst of my degree change, I had a roommate that had to be kicked out of my apartment. She called me saying that she was going to come to the apartment to pick up her keys. I took her

keys off of her keychain and gave her what was left. With her keys I made earrings. I wore these earrings everywhere and began to make jewelry out of other everyday objects.

This young new jewelry designer is on her way to the top. We have never seen jewelery so well crafted and amazingly dope in a long time. Sabrina Boyett is making her mark and we are glad to feature her. Her designs have made her one of FetchEdge Top Picks! Check her out!

INTRODUCING SABRINA BOYETT

THE HANDBOOK Interview

Sabrina Boyett

Page 33: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

At work one spring day I work a pair of super size paper clip earrings that I made. A guy that I went to school with, which was also a wardrobe stylist asked if I’d like to put my jewelry into a fashion show. I agreed, even though I didn’t have enough pieces for the show. I stayed up late and brainstormed everyday about what I could make for the show. Living downtown in a large urban city, I’m surrounded by tall buildings, trains, a mass amount of people, bright lights, and late nights. I took a trip to a few stores and decided that the things I made would have and industrial inspiration from objects used everyday.

After the fashion show and me wearing my pieces practically everyday, my jewelry was starting to catch a buzz. People were asking where they could buy it and if they could use it for

photo shoots and other fashion shows. At that point I created my website, www.SabrinaBoyett.com.

Summer 2010 I had a public relations internship with Ioannis Dimitrou-sis in London, England, which opened my eyes to another world of fashion. From that experience, I appreciate different forms of this art. I returned to Chicago August 2010, finished classes March 2011 and will graduate June 2011.

It has always meant the world to me to stay true to myself in every way, shape, and form. Expressing myself through my style is crucial to my sanity. I fancy beingdifferent, and I’m confident about the way I present myself and my products.

TRISTAN’SBARBER & STYLE

Tristan is originally from East St. Louis Il l inois started cutting hair in 8th grade and later ended up cutting hair in Chicago, IL. Tristan got his license at queen city barber school in Clarksville, TN which started the peak of his career after leaving college his 2nd year and ended up working at his first shop TotesBarbershop in Nashville, TN. This helped him build up his clientele. Moving to Nashville pave the way, now having his own shop in Nashville he has established a great clientele specializing in cut, tapers, fades, and eyebrow razor or wax. Giving a new touch tobarbering, a professional experience “were the client comes first” at Tristan’s Barber & Style.

Q&AWHAT TYPE OF CUTS DO YOU LIKE TO DO?I l ike Conventional, clean tapper cuts because I do a lot of professional people a more of a neat style they don’t get designs so a more basic cut.

WHAT TYPE OF CLIPPERS DO YOU USE AND OR PREFER?Primarily Andis, fast speed, which most barbers use.

Page 35: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER A “GREAT CUT”Hmm... a great cut I would consider is when there are no lines.. l ike a line demarcation is like when you can see somebody’s fade and theirs a line in the hair when it’s not blended, and when its blended really smooth and solid, very crispy and neat I would consider that a good cut… detail makes the cut.

IF A CUSTOMER WANTS TO KEEP WAVES WHAT LENGTH SHOULD THEY ASK FOR?If they already have waves, and have themestablished, in most of the cases when a person has waves go with the grain. But probably about 1/16ths with the grain to smoothen it out and keep the wave length and not cut too much and cut into the hair.

WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR CUT?A lot of people have been getting tapers with like a litt le fro, sort of l ike a bob type cut. So they let their hair grow out a litt le bit and then get it tapered on the back and sides, that’s getting pretty popular. The Mo-hawk is in and out every day so that a real popular cut too.

WHAT IS THE MOST ANNOYING THING A CLIENT COULD DO?Tell me how to cut. There is a difference between asking me how you want your hair cut and telling me how to cut….if that’s the case I would just give you the clippers (laughs..) you know.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD YOUR OWN SHOP?Tristan’s Barber and Style has been open for a year now.

HAVE YOU CUT ANYONE FAMOUS?Yes, my clientele is mainly professional and a lot of athletes. I cut majority of the Tennessee Titans players, especially Vince Young. It’s a blessing it comes along really good..

ccording to Merriam- Webster, passion is an "intense, driving, orovermastering feeling", and what a great definition that is. Along with a definition there is usually an example, but as I search online for an example of the word "passion" none truly stand out. I get tired of searching

and put my headphones over my ears, who would have known that the perfect example of such a powerful word would be right in my iPod playlists...

"It's so cold in the D" (chuckles), Detroit, MI will surely introduce you to the harsh realities of the world. Violence, drugs, poverty were the main roads that ran rampant through this city, but other than the automobile industry there was one more option, one more light to follow. The light of Music shined across "The gritty streets of Motown" and these were the surrounding walls of Terrell Kendrick's childhood. Terrell was not a stranger to the violence that was around him, but being the son of Christina & Darrell Kendrick Sr. the light of music eventually out-shined everything else and the creation of GAB began.

BEHIND THE CULTURE Up-Next

Gab“ORDINARY PEOPLE DOING EXTRAORDINARY THINGS”Ordinary people with drive, determination, and discipline!

They are stopping at nothing to pursue their dreams.Be inspired by their work ethic and the 3 P’s:

Patience, Perseverance, and Persistence.

Page 41: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

Luckily, the dream was far from gone.

Recommitting to his dream, Gab made a"rededication to greatness" and the passionate lyrics that he pours out are more than enough to back this up. Taking a break from school, Gab has put his all into one thing...being heard. And since that decision was made, Gab hasn't wasted one minute on making his dreams a reality.

After Nashville's own Dee Goodz introduced him at his very first show for Rock Smith on Feb. 23 2011 he has been locked in. 100+ "Who IS GAB?" shirts filled the room, peers anxiously wait on Gab to hit the stage and when he finally does, Gab makes it clear that this is his dream. Others such as Matt Miller (BreakOnACloud.com) also heard the passion in Gab's voice, which lead them to team up and create Gab's first projectThe Visual Mixtape Series.

This is only the first few chapters of the book of GAB. A true tale of a man from Detroit, MI working harder than the motor engines that his city is known for. Best thing about it is that the vehicle of success that Gab has created doesn't run on unleaded gas...it runs on the purest form of passion.

Can't wait to see what the next chapter has to offer.

T: @_whoisgabStarting off just rapping to childhood friends Ernest "Ben" Jones (Director and A&R of Live TMG) and Damian "Dame" Dawson (Head of Radio Promotion for Live TMG) would soon see the potential in this young man and as Terrell contin-ued to rap, others were instantly drawn in. William "Wallets" McElroy (childhood friend) coined Terrell Kendrick as "GAB" after witnessing the sure gift and ability to sway people with words. With that, Gab has his mind set on not making fans but creating believers as he opens his book of life through the art of rap.

These individuals all shared one common goal of success so; Ben, Dame, Gab, and childhood friend VERSA (Armani Bell) teamed up and formed Frontrunner EMG.

The creation of the label was a huge gift, seeing that all of these individuals were faced with the common struggles of growing up in Detroit, MI, but nothing in life is easy and Gab relocating to Nash-ville, TN made things a little bit harder. Tennessee State University was a new chapter in Gab's life. There he met people from all over the country, became a profound member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and also met his #1 supporter/Mother of their beautiful daughter (Danielle), Brittney Kendrick. Great things were happening in Gab's life, but the distance from his team made it hard to focus on his dream of music.

reetings FetchEdge readers! Once again, it’s your favorite political analysis/up and coming artist Gionni here to bring you the latest news in politics. So, I’m sure everyone has heard about the U.S. raid on Osama Bin Laden’scompound on May 2nd, 2011. I can truly say that this way a special moment in time for all Americans and a day that will be written in the scrolls of our great history. Allow me to recap

the events of that day and why they are important to our nation.

Rewind the clock in your head to September 11th, 2001. Our great nation was brought under siege by a terrorist organization, Al Qaeda, who was led by one of the world’s most wanted fugitives, Osama Bin Laden. We all remember the terrible images of the plane’s being flown

into the Twin Towers in New York that resulted in them falling to pieces on that tragic day, not to mention the attacks on Washington, D.C. Hundreds of lives were lost that day and countless lives we affected by these cowardly acts of terrorism. For 10 solid years, the U.S. has been chasing Bin Laden from mountain to mountain, Pakistan toAfghanistan, with no luck in finding him. Around 4 years ago, U.S intelli-gence identifies a man named Abu Ahmad, as one of bin Laden’s trusted couriers. 2 years after that, U.S. intelligence learns that the courier and his brother are living in Pakistan. It wasn’t until late 2010 that the U.S. received intelligence about a 3-Story compound 30-35 miles outside of Pakistan. This compound was placed under constant U.S. surveillance by the CIA. On April 29th, 2011, President Barack Obama feels that there is enough evidence to suggest that Bin Laden has taken refuge in this compound and gives the orders to conduct a full out raid on the premises.

GNot to sound lame or anything, but the way the raid was conducted was like Call of Duty: Black Ops meets James Bond 007! I mean talk about something straight out of the movies! If I were to describe as a movie script, it would read something like this:

Scenery: The raid takes place on a Sunday night. The weather is extremely clear and there is extreme darkness in the area.Mission: Code Name “Operation Neptune Spear.”Code name for killing or capturing Bin Laden: “Geronimo.”Location: Abbottabad, Pakistan

Compound Blueprint: The outside of compound is blocked by an 18ft. wall topped with barbed wire. There are several interior walls along the outside of the compound with two security gates. The building itself is 3-Stories high with a 7 ft. wall on the 3rd floor. There are a total of 3 families living inside of the compound (including Bin Laden’s family).

Story Line: President Barack Obama sits in the White House Situation Room with several key members of his staff. As they watch the action unfold in “Real Time,” the President gives the order to engage. Two stealth helicopters carrying around two-dozen Navy Seals (Seal Team 6) members hover over the compound. One helicopter lands safely near the northern wall of the compound. The second helicopter has encountered some technical difficulties and makes a hard landing near the western side of the compound. The Navy Seals are now on the ground and prepare for their attack! The Seals encounter a man named Ahmed in the guesthouse. Ahmed fires his weapon at the Seals, they quickly return fire and kill him. The Seals quickly move along the northern wall and into the main 3-story compound. On the main floor, they find the courier’s brother and he is killed. The Seals make their way up the stairs where the encounter one of Bin Laden’s sons. He rushed towards the Seals and he is killed. The Seals

go room to room on each floor until that particular floor is deemed to be “Clear” before they move on to the next floor. As they reach the 3rd floor, they find the target, Osama Bin Laden, in one of the rooms along with his wife and small

children. The Seals take out the target, shooting him once in the chest, and once in the head above his left eye. After Bin Laden is killed, one of the Seals laid down beside his body in an attempt to determine his height. The Seals take the body and proceed to make their way out of the compound. Before leaving, the Seals confiscate several items of interest which include audio and video equipment, five cell phones, millions of paper documents, five guns, five computers, 10 hard-drives and more than 100 storage devices (i.e. disks and thumb drives). The Seals make their escape on the one functioning helicopter, but not before they set fire to the 2nd chopper that malfunctioned to destroy all the evidence.

THE CONVERSATION POLITICS MADE COOLThe Death Of Osama Bin Ladentext • Gionniphoto • U.S. Defense Department; Central Intelligence Agency

Page 45: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

Good people of the FetchEdge world, tell me this isn’t one of the coolest scripts you’ve ever read! I’m no Michael Bay or Spike Lee, but I think if I made a movie out of that script, it would sell a ticket or two! There are five total casualties from the operation, four men and an unidentified woman. There were no injuries to any of the Seals during this mission. The total time from start to finish was an astounding 38 minutes! Bin Laden is then buried in the North Arabian Sea 12-hours after his death. Before his burial, DNA samples were taken from his body and pictures were taken to confirm his identity.

Now instead of everyone celebrating the heroics of our great President for making such a gutsy, but accurate judgment call; and furthermore praising the courage and heroics of our armed forces for such a masterful job in completing one of the most important missions in our nation’s history, some people want to stir up controversy. Can you believe there were actually people who called for the release of the photos taken of the dead body of Bin Laden. Had this have happened, it would have spelled disaster for our armed-forces. Al Qaeda was already livid that their leader was dead. The last thing we needed to do was add fuel to their fire by releasing the photos of his dead body. You can guarantee that Al Qaeda would have used those pictures to recruit new members for their terrorist organization and to re-energize their cause. Not to mention the gruesome nature of the photos (a man with a hole in his head). So ultimately, I applaud our President on making the correct decision in not releasing those photographs. I further applaud and commend our armed forces and the rest of the White House staff for taking the right steps in ensuring our safety.

*Camera Stuff* Members of the U.S. Navy SEAL team that attacked Osama bin Laden's Pakistani compound were wearing helmet-mounted digital cameras that recorded the mission, a U.S. military official told CNN Friday. The official described the digital recording as hazy, fast-moving and subject to poor lighting in the rooms. The source also said it is hard to get clear images from the footage."This is not movie-quality stuff," the source said.

All in all, this has been a great month for our country with the success of this mission. I know that the threat of terror still lingers and there is still a lot to be done, but for now, we can all sleep a little better knowing that Bin Laden is no more! And for those politicians and naysayers who opposed Obama on the premise that he lacked military intelligence and a backbone, take a second to eat your words and make sure they are properly digested. Natasha EalySTYLIST1. DESCRIBE YOUR "SWAGG" WHEN IT COMES TO STYLING HAIR? My "swagg" when it comes to hairstyling is defined through my clients. If I have someone in the chair who is daring and not afraid to try something new, then I’ll do what they ask of me and add my own little spice to it. If I have someone who is more reserved then I’ll give them more of a conservative, but eye catching look.

2.WHAT MOTIVATES YOUR IDEAS WHEN YOU DO HAIR? My clients motivate my ideas when doing hair. When they come into my salon with a vision of what they want but not a clear thought about how they can achieve it my work begins. I then take their vision and incorporate my own little twist to make the style come to life. I love the fact of knowing that my clients are pleased with their hair once they leave my chair.

3. WOULD YOU CONSIDER HAIRSTYLING AN ART? WHY OR WHY NOT? Hairstyling is definitely an art. Hairstyling allows you to express your talent on someone else rather than on paper or with clothing. It’s a rare talent that everyone does not posses and sets me apart from all the rest. My style, creative ideas, and client base is what sets me apart from your typical hairstylist.

4. ARE THEIR ANY PRODUCTS YOU WOULD RECOMMEND TO USE FOR ALL HAIR TYPES FOR EVERYDAY USE?

Page 49: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

From Indianapolis, IN, but born in California andcurrently reside in Nashville, TN. “I’m very hardworking and love what I do”. She enjoys traveling, shopping and spending time with family and friends. “I’m very outgoing and love my “little dog pebbles”.

Everyone should use some type of shine serum to add a little luster to their hair. I especially love the chi silk fusion serum, it smells great and doesn’t weigh your hair down.

5. WHICH CELEBRITY HAS AN ULTIMATE HAIRSTYLE THAT STANDS OUT TO YOU? I wouldn’t say this particular celebrity has the ultimate hairstyle but I love the fact that her hair is always on point. Meagan Good. I have never seen her hair looking a mess. I give kudos to whomever her stylist.

6. WHAT MADE YOU START DOING HAIR? I honestly don’t know what made me start doing hair. I started doing small styles on my friends in the 5th grade. Then I started doing more peoples hair but mainly braids and charged everyone 10 dollars. lol .I just really enjoyed doing hair. Then once I got to high school, I decided to attend cosmetology since I had a career center at my high school. Then before you know it, I was a licensed stylist before graduating high school.

7. WHAT IS YOUR MAIN GOAL AS A HAIRSTYLIST YOU WOULD WANT TO ACHIEVE IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY? My main aspiration is to one day own my own salons. I’d like to have a few different locations in various cities that offer a variety of services. I want some of my salons to just specialize in certain things depending on the location.

Warren Burke, 24, born in Chicago, IL (moved to Memphis, TN at age 11).

Inspiration includes: God, My Familia, TSU &Young African-American boys in search of what their purpose and meaning in Life.

Aspiration include: As extensive as the list is through entrepreneurship, entertainment, & philanthropy, Warren Burke aspires to be the mainstream actor in Film & Television and first graduate from TSU to do so.-Warren Burke

WHO INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME AN ACTOR?I honestly can’t say there is an aspiration. This is the hardest question in the world!... I’m going to say God- I’m positively sure! I can’t put my finger on a specific actor.

WHEN EXACTLY (DATE & TIME) DID YOU REALIZE ACTING WAS YOUR "CALLING?”October 23, 2009 was the exact day of my calling. I always wanted to pursue acting. Being at Tennessee State University and being a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc, I allowed people to tell me that I need to work in the corporate world just because I looked good in a suit. I work a 9-5 career in Domoin, Iowa after I graduated from college and I honestly hated that shit. On October 21, 2009 I went to church for my birthday. I ask begged God to tell me what was I destined to be. On October 22, God came down and sat on my couch. I asked him “What am I suppose to do with my life.” God responded “Warren, what if I deposited 1 million dollars into your account right now, and tomorrow another 1 million. Everyday 1 million dollars” Then God told me he wasn’t going to do that, but he made me realize my passion. I love commanding a presence from everyone. To transform into many personalities and learn many skills of acting is amazing! I love it!

DID YOU HAVE ANY FEARS? DO YOU HAVE ANY NOW? IF SO, WHAT ARE THEY AND HOW DO YOU OVERCOME THEM?My fear is being alone and feeling alone. I must pace myself. There is a difference between being lonely and feeling alone. When you are lonely you absolutely need company. When you are alone you are distinctively alone at that moment. I have to constantly remind myself of why I am doing this. I know that God is telling me to pursue this. I know this is not about me. This is about the entire world. We have the capability to change the world. If I can make a random stranger smile, I can do this for a billion people. I’m a living proof that I don’t have to work a 9-5. I can make it; this is my passion.

WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED?People-my dad especially. My dad is suppose to be my role model. My dad had a chance to pursue his dream career, but didn’t take those initial steps. So now I can hear his resentment. Don’t get me wrong, he’s successful. I love my dad, but I’m not trying to go down thatpath. I know people whose heart wants them to do something, but they don’t do it. I know this is the path I’m destined for.

BEHIND THE CULTURE Interview

Warren Burke“ORDINARY PEOPLE DOING EXTRAORDINARY THINGS”Ordinary people with drive, determination, and discipline!

They are stopping at nothing to pursue their dreams.Be inspired by their work ethic and the 3 P’s:

Patience, Perseverance, and Persistence.

Page 53: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

WHAT RECENT ACTING JOBS HAVE YOU RECEIVED?Well… 1. Independent film “Antebellum” about a male who wants to pursue Harvard. He receives a scholarship from a lady who family owns slaves. He tries to determine if he will accept or not. 2. Happy Ending 3. Excuse-TBS. Hosting a dating show in the African American community 4. Tyler Perry film!

I also have acting classes 3 times a week and just trying to stay up-to-date with my craft.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOU FAVORITE WORK THUS FAR?The film entitled “The Red Tie” directed by Justice Shurteck. This was my first role as the lead character. It challenged me. I asked myself how I was going to portray this chracter. I had to show my anger throughout the entire film but at the end I had to show sadness. This film was the first film that exhibited my emotional work. Seeing that product produced was amazing. Someone came up to me and really believed I was crying. That was an amazing feeling that hearing that. It was a reinsurance of how I’m on the right track.

WHAT'S ONE THING YOU COULD TELL SOMEONE WHO IS ON THE SAME PATH AS YOU?Don’t forget who you are. Please! I’m assuming if an individual is on this path then they must know who they are. You must always be yourself and continue to learn. Here in Hollywood they may ask you to change your entire personality, but you must be yourself. As an actor you’re selling yourself. Always remember your ethics, morals, and how you were raised and remember to always have fun! You only have one life, may as well have fun with it.

WHAT'S YOUR NEXT BIG MOVE?Hosting! I’m working on planning different events in Los Angeles and hosting television shoes. I will so keep doing the same acting jobs that I told you about in the previous question.

“I’m loving it” were the last words of Warren Burke’s interview. His enthusiasm throughout the interview showed that he loved his line of work and will use his talent to become an extraordinary actor. Watch out world!

LOVE: IS IT A RACE?Y DEFINITION LOVE MEANS TO HAVE A PROFOUNDLY TENDER, PASSIONATE AFFECTION FOR ANOTHER PERSON. NOW OF COURSE WITH THE WORLD IN WHICH WE RESIDE, IT IS TOO MUCH LIKE RIGHT FOR THINGS TO BE THE WAY THEY ARE, SO SOCIETY HAS DUBBED A DIFFER-ENCE BETWEEN LOVING AND TO BE IN LOVE. HOWEVER, AS FAR AS THIS ARTICLE ISCONCERNED, IT IS SAFE TO CONCLUDE THAT THEY

COINCIDE.

bUndoubtedly, one cannot deny that when a man loves a woman, or when a woman loves her man, it is something special about it. To see an individual care about another human being, and devote themselves wholly to that person is the epitome of love. With that being said, does love know race? Do different races love differently? And if so, does that account for the long term affects of relationships betweendifferent cultures?

One may argue that in fact, love does know race, and that “Black love” is not the same as “White love” or “Hispanic love”, and so on and so forth. Another may say that love is love no matter who you love; it’s universal. And then there are the individuals that may fall in between the midst of it all and conclude that yes, love is love, but different races showdifferent actions when they show affection— and they maybe right!

How and maybe even what one loves has a lot to do with what they have learned. Growing up, if you mother or father showed affection in a certain way, when you come into a relationship, more than likely, you will mock them. The actions of love can also be referenced back to times before the now, which have been passed through cultures fromgeneration to generation.

The concept of love is abstract in itself. Ultimately, it depends on a person’s interpretation, which will more than likely determine the actions behind their love. But that does not mean that one love is necessarily different or better than another. It just means that my actions are. Only the one whoexhibits true love is winning.

The Birth of Venus,c 1486.

Venus and Mars is a c. 1483 painting by the ItalianRenaissance master Sandro Botticelli. It shows the Roman gods Venus and Mars in an allegory of Beauty and Valour. Venus watches Mars sleep, while two infant satyrs play carrying his armour while another rests under his arm. A fourth blows a conch shell in his ear in an effort to wake him.The scene is set in a forest, and the background shows, in the distance, the sea from which Venus emerged / was born. A swarm of wasps hover around Mars' head, possibly as a reminder that love is often accompanied by pain.

THERE IS NOT ONLY A PICTURE OF MYSELF, BUT ALSO A PICTURE OF A NECKLACE. THE CHARM ON THE NECKLACE IS A HEART THAT IS SETTLED BEHIND A KEY, WHICH MEANS KNOWLEDGE. IN THE YEAR 2008, THERE WERE DIFFERENT INCIDENTS THAT OCCURRED IN MY LIFE THAT LED ME TO BELIEVE THAT I WAS INSIGNIFICANT, AND THROUGHOUT THAT TIME I WENT FROM KNOWING WHO I WAS [AS SOMEONE WHO WAS LESS THAN A YEAR AWAY FROM GRADUATING FROM HIGH SCHOOL,] TO SOMEONE WHO NO LONGER BELIEVED IN HERSELF. FOR THAT REASON ALONE, THE CHARM IS BLURRY BECAUSE I NO LONGER LOVED MYSELF AND UNDERSTOOD THAT I WAS PERFECTLY FINE THE WAY I WAS. THE WAY THAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO VIEW MY PEERS AND MYSELF, IT SEEMS TO ME THAT WE AS PEOPLE HAVE SKETCHED OUR OWN IMPERFECTIONS BY LETTING SOMETHING OR SOMEONE GIVE US THE IMPRESSION THAT WE ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL. HOWEVER, JUST AS WE HAVE SKETCHED OUR OWN IMPERFECTIONS, IT IS UP TO US TO ERASE THEM AND BEGIN TO LOVE OURSELVES REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE HAS TO SAY.

Page 60: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

e all know Swizz Beats is arguably one of the best producers in the game! He's grown a good deal from his days of basic piano beats to his now signature bells, whistles and party anthems.

When he came out with his song "No money in the bank" a lot of people including myself laughed hysterically as the song became an instant party anthem. While the song was funny, not having money in the bank is no laughing matter. According to a study done in 2009 by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) 17 millionAmericans don't have a bank account (Un-banked). Another 43 million are what people call "Under banked" which means they have a bank account but use check-cashing companies, pawn shops, liquor stores, and payday lenders to cash checks, pay bills, and borrow money. The study also shows that African-Americans and Hispanics are more likely to be un-banked or under banked than whites. So why isn't this funny? While you may have your reasons; not having a bank account is costing you more than you even realize. Did you know on average those who don't use financial services pay close to $700 a year just to cash checks and pay over 380% in interest when they need to borrow money. And that is not a

typo! People who don't have bank accounts and need to borrow money usually go to payday lenders who give you a small loan and charge you about 15% of your outstanding loan every two weeks. That means if you borrow $1,000 by the time you pay it all back you would have spent $3,800!! RIDICULOUS!! Solution: Put Money in the Bank!! Having a bank account can save you money and give you access to much needed financial advice. Opening an account is simple. If you do it online it is as simple as filling out an application, and signing the documents. If you rather do itface-to-face you will need two pieces of I.D.; a primary w/ photo and a secondary. A primary I.D. can be any state or government issued I.D. (Yes that can include a Jail I.D. or benefit card). A secondary I.D. can be proof of address, a bank statement, credit card or debit card. Unfortunately a birth certificate and/or social security card is not considered I.D. for banking purposes if you are over 18. Once you have your I.D.'s, an account can be opened with as little as $25 and in most cases less than that if you agree to do some sort of direct deposit i.e.; your pay check, SSI, or child support.

SHAVONNE DEANN

FETCHEDGE WANTS TO INTRODUCE SHAVOONE DEANN TO ALL OF OUR

READERS! WE HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING HER SUCCESS IN FASHION DESIGN FOR A

YEAR NOW AND HER DESIGNS ARE GETTING

BETTER EVERY YEAR. WESUPPORT HER JOURNEY TO

BECOMING ONE THE BEST FASHION DESIGNERS IN THE INDUSTRY. TAKE A

LOOK AT SOME OF HER FEMININE AND CHIC

DESIGNS!

SHAVONNE DEANN is a 27 year old new upcoming women’s ready-to-wear fash-ion designer. Alum of Moore College of Art & Design, she received a BFA (Bachelor in Fine Arts) in fashion design in 2007. Shavonne grew up in a small town called Bridgeton, NJ where fashion was not her first choice of a career. Growing up Shavonne first wanted to be a choreographer, RN nurse then fashion came last. Funny right! After graduating college, she became more interested in fashion styling and designing was put on hold. She didn’t immediately build Shavonne DeAnn until August 2010 and followed her dreams to make them a reality of her own. This past September 2010, she took a leap of faith by crashing New York Fashion Week to show thecommunity her passion [link 1]. She received rave reviews from celeb stylist June Ambrose and Beyonce’s stylist Ty

Hunter as well as Diane vonFursternberg (daughter to Diane von Furstenberg.) Shavonne was also featured on lots of sites like NY Mag the cut, Bluefly, the fashionbombdaily and Italia Vogue. Angela Simmons is Shavonne’s first celeb client that wore a Fall 2010 dress and her Spring/Summer 2011 dresses. The Shavonne DeAnn collec-tion is about femininity with a splash of glamour while maintaining a modern, youthful attitude. DeAnn brings quality, fun, chic clothes that are comfortable, sexy and at ease of fit. Her inspiration is everything from people, art, movies, shows, fashion magazines, to life itself. This is only the beginning what Shavonne DeAnn has set fourth so far, but look out for her to make her mark in the fashion industry. So are you a fan of Shavonne DeAnn? You should be! My site for my new Spring/ Summer 2011 is shavonnedeann.com and my Spring/Summer 2011 video here [link 2]. Page 68: FETCHEDGE ISSUE II

MY INSPIRATION comes from many things, whether its people on the street, magazines, art, movies, etc. Everything inspires me. As Shavonne DeAnn goes along my hardships are maintaining my business, but being a business woman first before a fashion designer because designing is easy. It’s the business end that’s the hardships because I wear many hats. It’s solely me so it’s ten’s times harder. I think once I have a firm stable business and its running the way it’s supposed to be is when I’ll get some extra hands to help me out because God knows I need it…lol I guess another hardship will be to keep Shavonne DeAnn relevant and successful one day. This past May I lost my job and at first I was frantic and worried at first because I know I have bills, student loans, etc. So as the days went along I got over it and knew I can get another job because of my work ethic and degree so it lifted the weight off my shoulders. So long story short, me and my boyfriend were conversing and at the time after I graduated college my interest was more geared towards fashion styling more than fashion design even though that’s what I studied I was way more interested than styling then with fashion design. So after our talks, he persuaded me and seen something in me that I didn’t

that my strongest asset was designing and making clothes. Soon after our pep talk I started sketching a lot, making little things for me and what not. FAST FORWARDING, this past September we were conversing and I was getting ready to launch my Fall 2010 collection and I wanted to launch it in a way where I will spend little to no money to show my line. Long story short we came up with the idea to crash NYFW with my own show displaying my clothes and making it my own runway. I already had some model friends so all I needed was a 12 passen-ger van with my models, friends and moral support. So we planned it out, I did it, I had signs and a bull-horn letting the people know I was there to show my line and here it is the way I do it, guerilla style mar-keting at its best! I got insane feedback from by stand-ers and rave reviews from June Ambrose and Ty Hunter, Beyonce’s stylist and I spent my last $110 bucks to make all this happen. Sounds like a great fashion show right! Well it was one hell of one and I loved every second of it. The way people reacted to me and what I did was crazy. I would have never thought that people will react to me the way they did. That was an AMAZING day. I’m so glad I was able to

AGAINST ALL ODDS

PRIOR TO THIS ALL, I am a 2007 graduate of Moore College of Art & Design with a BFA in fashion design. Shavonne DeAnn didn’t officially start until August 2010. After really touching into what was my calling I realized sky is the limit, life is about chances, risks and if you don’t take them you will never know the true meaning of life because of the trials and tribulations you’ll go through. So I went out on a wimp and just did it! My first line, which was Fall 2010 I sewn all myself and realized it was much more time consuming and harder which is no problem, but I wanted to work smarter and not harder. So my second line I reached out to a site called kickstarter, which is the largest funding platform for creative projects all around the world. I raised over $3000 to have my line manufactured and sewn professionally. I thank God everyday for my friends, family and supporters to help me come this far to where I am now. I definitely couldn’t have done it without them!

Now from here on out is continued history in the making. Let’s see what happens! Are you a fan of Shavonne DeAnn?

look back and say “Wow! I did that; I can do anything!”Other hardships will probably be the same as some others like paying bills like rent, student loans, etc, but at the same time chasing a dream you’re trying to make a reality and being on a pursuit to happiness. All these things are what life is all about unfortunately, but I have faith and trust in God. He will never give me what I can’t handle.

“SO WE PLANNED IT OUT, I DID IT, I HAD SIGNS AND A BULLHORN LETTING THE PEOPLE KNOW I WAS THERE TO SHOW MY LINE AND HERE IT IS THE WAY I DO IT, GUERILLA STYLE MARKETING AT ITS BEST!”

HAMILTON PARKBIOGRAPHY EXCLUSIVE Q&A

Hamilton Park may have honed their vocal skills while singing in their church choirs, but they are much more than just four guys who share a love for singing. They are a brotherhood born on the basketball courts of Hamilton Park Recreation Center in Atlanta. Hamilton Park, which is made up of Anthony, Mr. Marcus Lee, Chris Voice and Royce P, turned to both music and basketball as a way to avoid trouble in the streets of Atlanta, and remain on the path of following their dreams. Never once did H.P., imagine that the endless time spent playing basketball, or singing for hours on end, would later lead to being discovered by legendary music mogul Andre Harrell through his partnership with Radio One’s “Superstar Soul Search,” becoming the first group signed to his label, Harrell Records.

In 2010, Andre Harrell and Radio One launched the “Superstar Soul Search” in Atlanta, with the grand prize being a recording contract with Harrell Records. H.P. unfortunately missed the registration deadline, but fate would soon bring the four another chance to perform in front of Harrell. While on a radio promo tour for the competition throughout Atlanta, Harrell heard more and more about H.P. from every radio station he visited. After a visit to Atlanta station WHTA, Harrell learned that the Southeast Regional Manager for Atlantic Records, Yancey Richardson, who had been with him throughout this promo tour, was actually one of the managers of H.P. Harrell reached out to Yancey to set up a meeting with his partner Frame and the group for an impromptu performance. “They reminded me of Jodeci,” said Harrell, who then collected their music and decided to allow them to perform the national anthem at the finals. They were church boys, but they were masculine. I liked their relationship with each other and the way the blended in and out. They looked like a superstar group to me. … They’re like four heads thinking as one.” After H.P.’s rendition blew the entire audience away, Harrell realized they deserved a recording contract more than the other contestants, knowing that with his musical genius combined with H.P.’s potential, the outcome could be extraordinary. “They were better ready to come out with a record than any other contestant who was there,” said Harrell, who was responsible for discovering Diddy. “They had their production team in place. They were ready to go. They were like, ‘Let’s go.’”

From there, H.P. flew to New York to meet with Atlantic Records, where they performed their infectious single "Computer Love” along with Jodeci’s “My Heart Belongs to You.” It took H.P. only two songs to get a standing ovation from an entire conference room of music execs and A&Rs. After seeing this reaction, Harrell knew that H.P. had something special, and knew he could polish them into the flagship group for his new label Harrell Records, a partnership with Atlantic Records. “We weren’t taking ‘no’ for answer,” said the group ironically at the same time.

Hamilton Park successfully marries their athleticism and masculinity from their time on the basketball courts with their sense of chivalry, sensitivity, and ability to tap into their emotions. With three of the group members raised by a single mother and the fourth by a mother and father who are Pentecostal pastors, they collectively have an unfaltering affinity of how to properly treat a woman. Subsequently, H.P.’s infatuation with women evolved has into a matured state, compelling them to strive toward touching female’s hearts with their rebellious, untamed love ballads.

H.P. is united through an ineluctable fate. Mr. Marcus Lee and Anthony have been friends for more than 10 years, since they both sang in the youth choir at Paradise Church of God and Christ on the Southside of Atlanta. They later built a close relationship with Chris Voice, who used to sing at choir events while visiting his aunt. When the three saw that they had

something special, it was time for the guys to find someone to help manage and develop H.P. further. It was then that an ambitious Anthony approached his uncle, Don “Frame” Howard, who was an A&R for Upfront Entertainment (Devyne Stephens, Akon) and worked with Dallas Austin and Left

Eye of TLC and saw firsthand development of many acts that came though Atlanta, such as Another Bad Creation, TLC and Boyz II Men, to fulfill this role. Once Yancey, introduced Royce P to Frame, Hamilton Park had found the missing piece of the puzzle. It wasn’t until all four members

sang together that Frame was captivated by each member’s ability to grab the mic as the lead singer, while still remaining a cohesive unit. But the group also has many different complexions within it. Royce P sings with undeniable conviction and passion, engaging listeners with his

serious tone that beams from his eyes; Anthony bellows with hope, leading listeners into an optimistic retreat; Mr. Marcus Lee speaks the truth with his soulful array of salacious words; and Chris Voice touches the heart with his silky, inspiring words.

For the next four years, Frame groomed the four members at Hamilton Park Recreation Center & Park in Scottdale, Ga., where they spent vigorous hours learning their strengths and weaknesses as a group, building camaraderie and teamwork during pick-up

games on the basketball court. The four named themselves Hamilton Park, paying homage to the area where their bond progres-sively became more intact. "It just made sense,” said Mr. Marcus Lee, the group’s lone preacher’s kid. “That's where we made

a commitment to ourselves and to God. Even if we have a group discussion amongst us, it's going to be in Hamilton Park. That's where we got our wisdom. It all starts in Hamilton Park." Yancey, who also helped develop the sound of H.P. with

his writing, says the group’s time together is what helped build the strong, brotherly rapport that the guys have with each other. “They open up every session with a prayer and close every session with a prayer; they understand that it

starts and ends with God.” In a five-year period, H.P.’s likability transcended across the city, drawing comparisons to hometown platinum-selling groups 112, Jagged Edge and the 1990s group Jodeci, gaining approval from the

masses.

“They are what New Edition once was,” said Frame, who, along with Richardson, developed Hamilton Park through their company L7 Entertainment. “These guys are pure. They’re untamed. It’s the

chemistry, the unity that makes them special. They come from the tradition of a southern church. Altogether, Hamilton Park is what Atlanta sounds like today.” H.P., who have been influenced by

everyone from The Commission and The Clark Sisters to The Temptations and Usher, want to continue the lineage of legendary groups with their youthful soul singing rhythms. They are the

face of Harrell Records and aim to reintroduce songs that appreciation women.

In today's disposable pop environment, H.P. is seeking to reestablish the sheer essence of chivalry and lyrically deliver tasteful grooves that will encourage listeners to reminisce

about the time when showmanship was once a direct correlation of male R&B groups. “We’re bringing the real essence, the real R&B back to the bedroom. The

stuff Ron Isley used to sing about. It’s tasteful, but graceful,” Royce P said. “It’s passionate and us being us. We’re young and we’re real strong with our love.

We pull out the chair, we carry bags and do everything right. So when it comes time. … We do it for the sheets.” As Anthony puts it, “We do it for

the ladies. We’re connoisseurs of love. We emphasize the fact that we are young men who are connoisseurs of love. It’s love in the most

masculine, most manly way.” “I believe they can bring love songs back to the radio,” Harrell said. “Love songs are missing from the

radio. They’ll bring back love and romance for young people.”

My name is Chris Curry, but I go by Prep. Prep is the nickname that was given to me by a few of my close friends because of my cloth-ing style. I am only 25, soon to be 26 in July. I was born and raised in Memphis, but I went back in forth from Whitehaven to South Mem-phis growing up. I attended Hillcrest High school where I couldn't really express my love of clothing. When my parents moved us to German-town, I was transferred to Houston High School. It was a totally different environ-ment. I loved the clean cut appearance represented in the school, which pushed me to start really opening up my mind more and take risks in style.

My inspiration came from watching so many great styles from BentleyFonzworth, Andre 3000, John Legend, Kanye West and many others. The name of the company, PREPared Fashion, came to me in Prayer one day when I was thinking about starting the business. I said "I want my name to be representative of the clothes" so God gave me PREPared Fashion. This business honestly wouldn't have ever come into fruition if it wasn't for my mother, Constance Curry. She told me "I'm going to buy you your first sewing machine & pay for sewing classes and you need to start making clothes because that is a gift that God gave you.”

So basically this is a fresh, new business and we are still learning. We are taking our time but plan on doing a lot more in the city soon. Please check us out at www.preparedfashion.com. We offer nothing but custom made clothing for your liking as well as: fashion styling, professional graphic design, licensed barber haircuts, licensed hair stylist, professional photographs, Mentorships, Modeling classes, Catering and so much more. Contact us to find out more information, Thank you so much, and may God bless you.

wo girls. Jane and Janice. Both grew up in the same city, on the

same block. Both saw the same poverty. Both females went to the same schools and received the same above average grades. After high school, Jane stayed home to work, saying that she could not afford college, and did not want to build up debt with financial aid and student loans. Janice, also not being able to afford college, received a scholarship and other aid and decided that she would go anyway.

Similar environments.Different decisions.

However, were theiropportunities not the

same?

So often in minority communities, coming straight out of high school, individuals go directly into the work force. Some contend that situations at home, grades, or finances hindered them from going, let alone, applying to college. On the contrary, one may argue that someone in the same situation, or worse, has taking the necessary measures, and has decided to go to college. So the question arises, why haven’t they? Were they not giving the same chance to do the same thing?

In Tyler Perry’s film, Madea Goes To Jail, the character played by Derek Luke, is a prominent assistant district attorney who runs across a childhood friend turnedprostitute played by Keisha Knight Pulliam. Throughout the entire movie, Ion Overman, playing Luke’s character’s fiancé, argues that Pulliam’s character was offered the same opportunities as he, in his effort to help her

out. However, is that entirely true? And if so, why are they not in the same position of prominence?

Overall, the safest thing maybe to assume that although people are afforded the same oppor-tunities, many do not have the same mind set to take advantage of those opportunities. To know that an opportunity can be manipulated in one’s own favor, and that a bad situation does not have to stay as such, takes a certain type of individual. However, that does not mean that Jane or Janice, or anyone else for that matter, were not given the same chances to accomplish their goals…or does it?
