Recommendation of Approval of PMDC's Annual ProcarementPlonfor Cy 2015 to the Head of the Procuring EnfiA

WHEREAS, as required under Section 7 oJ-the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulationsof RA. 9181, the Government Procurement Reform Act and the Circular Letter No. 2013-14 of the

Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and as part of the Corporat? Operating Budget(C.OB) of the Philippine Mining Development Corporation (PMDC), the Bids and Awards Committee(BAC) of the PMDC hereby recommends the approval of PMDC's Annual Procurement Plan forcalendaryear 2015:

WHEREAS, the PMDC uses competitive bidding as a principal mode oJ'procuremenl,however, as allowed under the law, il may also resort to any of the alternative modes of procurement,viz: I) Limited Source Bidding; 2) Direct Contracting; 3) Repeat Order; 4) Shopping; and 5)

Negotiated Procurement whenever justified by the cottditions provided by the law, and subject to the

approval of the head of the agency in order to promote economy and fficiency;

WHEREAS, in the PMDC's Annual Procurement PIan, Competitive Bidding, Shopping andDirect Contracling are the modes ofprocuremenl to be used as shown in Annexes "A"' "8" and "C"attached heretvith, respectively;

THEREFORE, let it be RESOLVED, that the BAC hereby recommends to the Head of the

PMDC the approval of PMDC's Annual Procurement Planfor calendoryeor 2015.
