When Carter decided to update the lobby areas of the Fifth Street Towers in Minneapolis, they hired AlivePromo to convert static back-lit directories with state-of-the-art, interactive digital directories.

An ongoing concern was how to direct visitors to their destination within the two tower complex that had similar lobbies, which often left people confused about which elevator to take.

AlivePromo designed a beyond the box touch screen digital directory that allows visitors to search for a tenant or individual using a digital keyboard. Touching a tenant or individual name prompts a dynamic wayfinding line on a map that shows the tower where the visitor needs to be and which elevator to take.

Other features include live weather, rotating pictures of building amenities, pages for tenants and individuals to upload a logo and description and more.

Each building directory is powered by the AlivePulse web-based Directory Management system, allowing for tenant and people information to be updated electronically within minutes, eliminating the plastic inserts that often take 4 weeks to order and are a hassle to replace.

Equipment procurement, glass fabrication, installation, and networking were performed by AlivePromo.

Ongoing creative, scheduling, monitoring and maintenance are performed by AlivePromo from its Minneapolis headquarters.
