This scene features close up shots of Dumbledore and Draco Malfoy. These shots reveal very well the emotion that character is feeling, and can also be quite intrusive. In this scene we see in the close-up shot the pain and fear on Draco’s face, which is important as it lets us know that he doesn’t really want to kill Dumbledore.

In a high angle the camera is above the subject. In this scene, Dumbledore is filmed from a high angle when he is plummeting from the castle. This angle helps to illustrate the weakness and vulnerability of Dumbledore at the time, as he is falling to his death.
