TYPES OF TIRE

• All the basic construction of all types of tires is same but the quality & rubber used is different.

• For example in summer tires Hard rubber is used & in winter tires soft rubber is used

TIRE BUILDING PROCESS

Collection of Raw Material

Rubber is drawn into sheets

Rubber sheet are rolled layer by layer on metallic

CURINGIt is a process of vulcanization of rubber. It holds two main parts upper mold & lower mold

Mainly there are • Sulfur systems• Peroxides • Urethane cross linkers • Metallic oxides • Acetoxysilane

CURING WITH SULPHURIn curing process shlphur is mixed with water due to high solubility, then the solution is send to curing press where hydraulic pressure is 1.8-2.1 MPa (Mega Pascal's) & air pressure is 0.25-0.35 MPa & Temperature 170 °C for 10 minute

After in the above curing process RTV ( Room Temperature Vulcanization) process is done. In this process silicon reactive oil polymers are constructed & this oil is pasted on tires to get extra strangeness

CURING PRESS BOM: - BAG-O-Matic types are most modern & are widely used.

Bladder is open ended cylindrical shaped. Tire is ejected from bladder by applying vacuum.

NRM: - Bladder is pot shaped with its upper end closed. Bladder is sunk in bag well by ram & lifts the tire from mold .

RADIAL TIRESRadial tires are generally known as nylon or off road tires.

First layer is of rubber sheet Second sheet of steel Third layer of rubber Fourth layer is of nylon Final layer of hard rubber

LUBRICATIONLubricants are made up of vegetable oil extracts.

The Industry-approved Rubber Lubricant are used. Lubricates are used for mounting and demounting of tires. Lubes is must for all tires to protects beads against scuffing during mounting-assures proper bead seating on rim. Protects against tire slippage after mounting. Also removes rubber squeaks in bushings and grommets.
