Dear Parents, Summer Vacation is here and it’s time to relax at home away from the scorching heat. We hope that our kids would enjoy their vacation time and at the same time learn through their surroundings and experiences. SUMMER SPLASH, (Holiday Project) serves various educational needs. It serves as an intellectual discipline, establishes study habits, eases time constraints, supplements and reinforces work done in the school. In addition, it fosters student initiative, independence, and responsibility and brings nature, home and school together.
Playing in gardens and parks always brings joy for little kids. At the same time, it can prove to be a great learning source of learning. Bring your child close to nature through regular nature walks different concepts from the biggest teacher of all, the nature.
Make sure that your child accompanies you while going to the supermarket, mother dairy etc. and let them choose vegetables/fruits of their choice and identify them too.
Children must learn to help themselves by laying the dining table, eating with a spoon, keeping the things at their proper place etc. Let your child help you in doing some basic activities by making it fun.

Certain basic skills are learnt from the surroundings and children imbibe them, when they follow the leaders, that is when their parents guide them through these. Let’s - 1. Inculcate some Life Skills to make your child independent and

Printing on APRON Help the little artist in making an apron with bottle cap printing! This is surely going to be one of the cherished souvenirs for life. Material Required-
• Fabric Paint(any colour) • Plain cloth apron (any colour stitched apron) • A flat painting brush • Bottle cap • Newspaper • Marker (black)
How to do-
• Place a sheet of newspaper beneath the cloth. • Lay the apron on a flat surface. • Dip the bottle cap in multi colour fabric paint and take impression on apron. • Dilute the paint with water if required. • Help your child to write his/her name at the bottom of the apron. • Children will use this apron during their lunch time in school.

Meal time is an important time for all the preschoolers as they adopt many healthy habits and eating etiquettes during that time.
Objective: To make a table mat with healthy habits and eating etiquettes.

Instructions: Step1: Make a border with vegetable printing on both side of the sheet using poster colour.
