Limit by Domain
• site:
Limit by file type
• filetype:
For site: you use the dot after the colon: .gov, .org, .com , etc.
For filetype: there is no dot. Just pdf, doc, xls, ppt, etc.
Limit by year
Look in left hand navigation for search options, also advanced search on main Google Scholar search box
