It WillTake Place From Saturday, 27 June 2020 (Arrival) To Thursday, 09 July 2020 (Departure).Students Of All Study Programs Are Welcome!
Your programEvery morning you will learn Arabic Language from beginner’s levels. Since the number ofseats of the School is limited to 20, you will have an excellent small class experience. Afterlunch on some afternoons you will enjoy exploring the beautiful Jordan region including:

THE ROMAN THEATRE AND DOWNTOWN MARKETS:The Roman Theatre which dates back to the 2nd century AD is built into three sides ofthe hillside, it seats around 6000 people and is still used for performances today and Walkthrough this beautiful and busy downtown fruit and vegetable market where locals shopfor their fresh produce.
ROYAL AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM:was founded in 2003 under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II. The RoyalAutomobile Museum showcases an important part of Jordan's political history from aninteresting perspective. The exhibits also reflect the history of the Hashemite Kingdom ofJordan through cars from the reign of King Abdullah I to the reign of King Abdullah II. Morerecently.
PETRA:The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best-known touristattraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled insouthern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massivearchitecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is a UNESCO World
Heritages Site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Inhabited by the Nabateans,Edomite's and Romans, Petra brought together the knowledge and skill of these civilizationsto create this world wonder. Caravans laden with incense, silks, spices and other exotic goodswould rest at Petra.

DEAD SEA:A spectacular natural wonder the Dead Sea is perfect for religious tourism and fun in the sunwith the family. With its mix of beach living and religious history you can soak up the sunwhile Biblical scholars can get their daily dose of religious history. The leading attraction atthe Dead Sea is the warm, soothing, super salty water itself – some ten times saltier thansea water, and rich in chloride salts of magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine and severalothers.

Your accommodation
• Gerasa Hotel (https://www.gerasahotel.com/), which is a 5-minute walk from theUniversity, You will have breakfast there, your lunch is provided in the cafeteria of
the university during work days (close to the class room). For Double Room (300JD).
• Al Amera Hotel Apartment: which is a 5-minute walk from the University. Nobreakfast. For Single room (260JD), Double Room (130 JD).

Certificate and ECTS
After your successful participation at the Summer School you will receive a certificate ofparticipation and you can take home ECTS for the language course.
Your expensesYour travel costs have to be covered individually.
Kindly note that there is no transport provided by the university from "Amman queen aliaairport" to UJ.
Your accommodation costs range from 130 JD to 300 JD, depending on your choice ofroom, whether single, double, triple. private bath room are always included, no mixedrooms available.
For lunch on 6 days during the 2 week on Campus you have to pay a lump sum of25 JD.
For the Petra, Wadi rum, Ajloun and Jerash, Madaba, Mount Nebo, Dead see with dinneryou have to calculate around (300 JD).
The additional costs of the Summer School including course fees, excursions, bustransportation, entrance fees you will have to pay (50 JD).
** The participant have to buy Jordan Pass: The Jordan pass is the ultimate sightseeingpackage that has been especially tailor-made for visitors to the country.
