fischer Injection Mortar FIS VT 380 C

A Preparing the cartridge1. Remove cap.2. Screw static mixer into position. The mixer spiral must be clearly visible in the static mixer.

Never use without static mixer !3. Place the cartridge in the applicator gun. 4. Press approx 10 cm of material out until the resin mortar comes out evenly grey in colour.

Mortar which is not grey in colour will not cure and must be disposed of.After finishing work, leave the static mixer attached to the cartridge, or remove the static mixer and replace the cap.Important: If the processing time is exceeded, use a new static mixer and if necessary remove encrusted material in the cartridge mouth.

Installation in solid and perforated brick

B I Installation with anchor sleeveSuitable for: vertically perforated brick, solid brick, perforated sand-lime brick, solid sand-lime brick, hollow blocks, hollow pumice brick, hollow floors and other perforated brick.1. Drill hole. Observe the correct hole diameter and depth. With solid materials, clean out the hole as follows: blow out at least four times, brush

out four times, and blow out four times again. Badly cleaned hole = reduced load-bearing capacity !

2. Insert anchor sleeve into hole until flush with surface.3. Fill with injection mortar starting from the bottom of the hole. Avoid bubbles.4. Press anchoring element down to the bottom of the sleeve, turning it slightly while doing so.5. Do not apply load to the anchor until after the prescribed curing time (see table 1).

B II Installation without anchor sleeveSuitable for: concrete, lightweight concrete, natural stone, solid sand-lime brick, solid pumice brick and other solid materials. In plastered masonry, we recommend using an anchor sleeve.1. + 2. Drill hole. Observe the correct hole diameter and depth.2. Clean the hole thoroughly: Blow out at least four times, brush out four times, and blow out four times again. Badly cleaned hole = reduced load-bearing capacity !3. Fill with injection mortar starting from the bottom of the hole (approx. 2/3 of hole).4. Press anchoring element down to the bottom of the hole, turning it slightly while doing so. After inserting

the anchoring element, excess mortar must emerge from the mouth of the hole. If no mortar appears at the surface, remove the anchoring element immediately and inject more FIS VT 380 C injection mortar.

5. Do not apply load to the anchor until after the prescribed curing time (see table 1).Important: Changes in colour may occur depending on the material. Please test in a suit able location beforehand.Installation in masonry is not included in the approval.

Installation in concrete according to European Technical Approval (ETA)

C I Pre-fixing installation1. Drill hole with hammer drill. Observe correct diameter and depth of hole.2. Remove any water in the hole completely by blowing or sucking it out. Clean hole thoroughly. Badly cleaned hole = reduced load-bearing capacity! For sizes M 6 to M 12: blow out four times strongly with hand blower. For sizes M 16 to M 30: blow out four times with oil-free compressed air, p > 6 bar (from size M 20,

use pressure nozzle Ø 19 mm).3. Brush four times with machine brush. Clean dirty brushes. Check brushes for wear with brush gauge.

The brush diameter must be greater than the control diameter.4. Blow hole out again four times (see step no. 2).5. Inject injection mortar starting from bottom of hole. Avoid bubbles (approx. 2/3 of hole, see table II).6.

7. Do not apply load to anchor until after the prescribed curing time (see table I).

C II Push-through installationFollow steps 1–4, like pre-fixing installation.5. Starting at the bottom of the drill hole, fill with injection mortar, making sure that it does not contain air

bubbles. The hole in the object to be attached must also be filled with mortar.6.

7. Do not apply load to anchor until after the prescribed curing time (see table I).

Store the mortar in a dry and cool location.
