The Jersey Fish Festival is one of the largest and highest profile community events in Jersey. It is an inclusive event that celebrates the Island’s maritime history and its connection with the sea.
Headed up by a core group of industry individuals, the fleet and select professional advisors, the team ensures a great day out for all! Having your business message present at Jersey Fish Festival is an opportunity not to be missed!

The Event
Jersey Fish Festival has been held annually since 2009 and has now become a major community event enjoyed by locals and tourists.
When is it?Jersey Fish Festival 2011 will be held from 11.00am to 11.00pm on Saturday 6th August 2011 at Victoria Pier, St Helier in Jersey, walking distance from the main town. Coaches will also be put on to take people from a pick up point in the town. In the case of wet weather marquees will be provided.
The EventJersey Fish Festival has been held annually since 2009 and has now become a major community event enjoyed by locals and tourists.
The event brings together the Islands historic fishing industry with the public to sample Jersey’s finest seafood, watch the maritime events, enjoy the outdoor entertainment, meet friends and to support Jersey’s fishing industry.
The event provides a platform to showcase the fishermen and the fishing industry, the species they catch along with all the other produce, arts and crafts that make Jersey the unique and special place that it is.

Jersey Fish Festival was listed as one of the top five European destinations for food/travel lovers.
We have a substantial list of media coverage and feature articles including: Jersey Evening Post, Jersey Life magazine, Gallery magazine, BBC Television, BBC Radio, Channel TV, Food and Travel magazine UK.

Audience and Demographics
It is projected that 13,000 people will attend Jersey Fish Festival in 2011. Figures over the last two years reflect this with over 9,000 people attending the festival in 2010 which doubled in figures from the year before (4,500 attended in 2009).
Visitors are made up from the Jersey fishing industry, the local community and tourists.
Jersey Fish Festival is a family friendly event, with games and activities for children and the community to take part, including the Man Powered Flight Competition which is an attraction in itself!
Jersey Fish Festival commit a substantial part of the budget promoting the event on and off the island, through press and radio advertising, press releases and flier/poster distribution. These areas include Jersey, Guernsey, Southern England (London, Poole & Weymouth) and France (Britanny & Basse Normandy regions).

Jersey Fish Festival are proud to bring together the Islands historic fishing industry with the public for a day out to remember.
Over the last 2 years the festival has increased in size and we are proud to work closely with other areas of the community, including Jersey Grassroots Festival – helping to promote environmental awareness and tidy beaches and Branchage Film Festival – promoting cultural awareness.
The proceeds, including the door fee and sales merchandise, goes towards supporting local charities including:
