Every day, more than 4,300 staff at our Trust work around the clock to give patients the devoted care they would expect for their own families.

The Pride Awards are our Trust’s very own red carpet ‘Oscars’, for though you might not see our team on the television programme Casualty, they are living it every day in a fight for our patients’ lives, health and vitality.

Our Pride Awards celebrate those who consistently go the extra mile to make the care and experience for our patients the very best it can be.

This sponsorship pack is designed to give you some ideas about how you can help us show our staff just how much we value their efforts. But it’s only a starting point – if you have other suggestions about how you can get involved, please don’t hesitate to let us know, we’re very happy to talk through any ideas you might have.

the awards Our awards are designed to recognise staff working behind the scenes as well as those on the front line, as without our staff working incredibly hard in supporting services, those delivering hands-on care couldn’t operate.

We have nine awards for staff to nominate their colleagues and teams to win, as well as an ‘Unsung Hero’ accolade awarded according to votes from the public. This year, we are delighted to announce the Bournemouth Daily Echo are sponsoring this award.

Held at Poole Lighthouse, the Pride Awards is a glittering black tie occasion complete with live band, event photographer and three courses of fine dining.

A multimedia awards ceremony is followed by live music and disco dancing until 1am.

As a valued sponsor, our Pride Awards event offers you a unique opportunity to reach 500 members of staff directly during the evening, as well as numerous opportunities to reach our 4300 staff working across the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch hospitals through our internal communications channels.
