Arts & Cultural Enrichment
Encourage youth to develop their creativity and
cultural awareness through knowledge and
appreciation of the visual and performing arts.
BGCV has a gallery and workspace for young
artists.
Education & Career Development
Enable youth to become proficient in basic
educational disciplines, set goals, explore
careers, prepare for employment and embrace
technology to achieve success in life.
Character & Leadership Development
Empower youth to become global citizens who
support and influence their Club and
community, develop a positive self-image and re-
spect their own and others’ cultural identities.
Health & Life Skills
Develop young people’s capacity to engage in
positive behaviors that nurture their own
well-being, set personal goals and live successfully
as self-sufficient adults.
Sports, Fitness and Recreation
Promote fitness and encourage positive use of lei-
sure time, as well as develop teamwork,
cooperation and skills for stress management.

The Iben Family Support Center
The family support center is an on-site counseling
program that aims to strengthen the family unit. All
counseling services are provided free of charge to
our youth members.

Power Hour helps all members be more success-ful in school by providing homework help and tutoring. Computers, laptops and i-Pads with internet access are available for school assign-ments and academic enrichment.

Learn a new Language today. Open up the world tomorrow. Rosetta Stone allows students learn various languages though a guided interactive system. Great for students who are taking for-eign language classes, students learning English, or just learn for fun!

develop positive relationships and choose a
healthy lifestyle.
Passport to Manhood
Passport to Manhood is a 10-week personal devel-
opment program that teaches responsible deci-
sion making to youth males
including healthy life choices.
CYBER PATRIOT
The Cyber Patriot program involves students
mastering security solutions to protect comput-
ers from hackers and malicious software. Skills
developed under this innovative
program are foundational for
higher education and career
opportunities in the lucrative
field of cyber security.
LEGO ROBOTICS
Do you like to build and destroy things to see how they work? Participate in program-ing robots to complete team based challeng-es, improve critical thinking skills/creativity, and spark your interest in STEM!

THE ARTS
ARTIST IN TRAINING
Members will be given the chance to unwind after-school and express themselves artistically. Stu-dents will work in a variety of mediums, and learn to make a variety of arts and crafts. Students will gain an understanding of the basics of creating art including, light and shading, how to make colors, and layering.
DJ’s DANCE CLASS
Want to learn the most entertaining and well-known dances around? DJ’s Dance Class is a great chance to experience various dance styles; from basic choreography to learning how to do the “Whip, Nae Nae,” this is an all-around great op-
portunity to meet new friends with the same interest we all share in com-mon… To Just Dance.
