Fleet Update

Great news coming out of the fleet department! Our latest version of Mkey 3.7.0 integrates with the software used with two of our large clients – Enterprise Fleet and Emkay.

What does this mean for you? Here is a few areas it will affect greatly:

• It will tremendously reduce your payment turn-around time What has been an average of 30-45 days will now be 2-3 weeks!

• Authorizations will mostly happen instantly The program is set up to automatically approve scheduled maintenance. This means quick approvals and no hold times on the phones!

• The amount of fleet business from these two companies will increase This integration has put your shop on the map with our new-founded relationship with Emkay and should increase what you see from Enterprise Fleet! Both have begun to advertise Meineke to their clients.

If you haven’t done so already, please make sure your shop is set up to receive electronic payments from corporate. This is a different set up from the electronic withdrawals and requires a different form. If you need the form, please contact me or the central billing dept at fleetmeineke@meineke.com.

Also available is a National Fleet dropdown box so you can easily identify the fleet company you are working with, instead of typing it in the name or note sections. This should certainly assist with reporting at the shop level.

A Message From Our Vendor - Chevron Price Decrease

As of April 15, 2015, Chevron effectively decreased our pricing on all lubricants by 58 cents/gal.

A few weeks ago, Chevron sent a letter to all franchisees enrolled in the program outlining the price adjustment. The reduction in pricing further propels center profitability. Chevron is committed to Meineke satisfaction and continues to do everything they can to help the system grow.

CHEVRON PRICE DECREASE: April 15, 2015U.S. Mainland

Hello Meineke Franchisee,

Chevron is announcing a price adjustment to be effective April 15, 2015. Chevron will decrease the prices of all lubricating oils, gear lubes and greases. For example, Supreme Motor Oil 5W-30 (BULK) & 5W-20 (BULK) will decrease by 58 cents/gallon to $5.06/gallon. Similarly, all other package styles will decrease by 58 cents/gallon. Greases and gear lubes will decrease by 0.07 per lb. In certain instances, specific products may adjust in amounts that are outside of this announcement. Your product specific national account price list, highlighting these price changes, is attached.

• NEW – Check it out! Havoline Synthetic-Blend 0w20 is available in 55 gallon drum & PitPack. • SIGN-UP – If you haven’t done so, it’s time to jump on the Meineke/Chevron program! And remember,

The Meineke Endless Spring Road Trip is a social media contest hosted on Facebook. The purpose of the campaign is to increase Meineke’s social media presence and capture email addresses of future Meineke customers. Facebook posts, tweets and Instagram posts will drive participants to the contest area on Meineke’s Facebook page, where they’ll complete a quick entry form (email, name, zip code). The contest will run throughout April.

The $2,500 package includes:• 3-night stay at hotel ($175 each night, $525 total)• $475 gas card• $1,500 in spending money

The contest is performing really well, with already 5,147 entries!
