Flexible Duct Connections

All ducts, which are used in all ventilation systems for heating, cooling or ventilating systems, are connected to mechanical structure as fan or ventilation system. These equipments are recommended to use in ventilation ducts to absorbe vibration and sound which have been created in ventilation system. Made from fabric which is mounted to both sided metal. This equipment has to be have flexible, airtightness and at the same time air resistance properties. By this way, ETK flexible duct connection equipments are excellent selection for these kind of applications.

Recommended mounting method

Be carefu while connecting two pieces from flexible duct connections. Do not connect from the edge, connect them near the middle and the notched surface must be turned to outer.

Cut the equipment with leaving a margin of 5 or 6 cm from the connection edge.

Pull up notches to outer side to make right angle.

Cut the fabric under notches as shown.

To do not disarray of fabric, pull down notches to opposite side.

Connect two edges of equipment and make pressure tightly. After glairing.

Connect two steel edges with welding and give required shape.

Circular Flexible Connection Equipments

It's recommended to mount to the ventilation ducts to insulate the vibration which is created by fans, ventilation units or other kind of equipments. Equipments must be manufactured from flexible and airproof material and must be have thermalproof characteristic. Ducts are generally manufactured from steel and the most important obstacle is mounting equipments to the ventilation ducts. ETK's circular flexible connection equipments are suitable for these applications.

Circular flexible connection equipments can be manufactured with different sizes. Connection equipments are manufactured from polyurethane (M0 and 400°C/2 hours fire rating) material with 160 mm width and side of the equipment is tightly stitched in accordance with high thermal resistance. All connection equipments are delivered with suitable two clamps.

Mounting of circular flexible connection equipments will be done by wrapping the fabric around the both ventilation ducts and than clampedfrom the both side. That mounting type is so simpleand effective beside, it provides excellent airproofness.

Nominal dimensions are suitable for the standard duct dimensions. Circular flexible connection equipment's dimensions have to be a bit bigger than the ventilation duct's dimension for do not disconnect from the duct.

Damper Sleeves

ETK damper sleeves are used for controlling the air flow rate which is streaming inside the damper. Sleeves have easy and effective usage and they can be manufactured at all size of both single or multi bladed dampers. They mount easily and there are wide range of sleeves according to the damper dimensions.

Single Bladed Damper Equipments

RG-10: This is an economical model which provides an effective usage has vibrationproof characteristic. It mounts easily and provides an ideal adjustment. Suitable for right angled and circular ducts.

*Used with the dampers untill the dimensionof 250 mm.*Long (RG-12L) or short with spring (RG-10)axial edge is mounted.*Elliptic short (RG-10) or long (RG-12L) axialscrew is used.

RG-12L: Same with RG-10, but it's axial is longer than the RG-10. Recommended for insulated ducts.

RG-20: The most used size. The damper's position can be seen clearly. Can be used both prismatic or circular ducts, despite this it's economical.

RG-22L: Same with RG-20. but it's axial is longer than the RG-20. Recommended for insulated ducts.

*Used with the dampers untill the dimension of 350 mm.*Long (RG-22L) or short (RG-20) spring is mounted to the edge of axis.*Eliptic short (RG-20) or long (RG-22L) axial screw is used.

RG-30: Has same characteristics with RG-20. It's mounted to bigger dampers and the damper position can be seen clearly.

*Used with the dampers untill the dimension of 500 mm.*Edge of axis with spring.*Prismatic axial screw (if requested it will be longer).

*Used with the dampers untill the dimension of 700 mm.*Prismatic axial.*Circular axial.

RG-60: It is manufactured with longer handle to be used in bigger dampers.

Multi Bladed Damper Equipments

RG-75: Simple, economical and strong. RG-75 provides easy and effective adjustment system for opposite and parallel bladed dampers.

*For Ø12 mm circular shaft.

RG-175-K: Same with RG-75, but there is a ball on the handle. That makes easier the usage.

*For Ø12 mm circular shaft.*Delivered with all pieces are mounted.

RG-275-S: Same with RG-75. But a stronger screw is used to tighten metal strongly to be used easily.

Steel Fixing for Blade Directors

By the help of ETK steel fixing, turnable blades can be fixed securely. They are made from galvanised steel and have sealing to be have leakageproof characteristic.

Blade Directors are used in the ventilation ducts to control air stream and increase efficiency of flow. It's not easy to fixing the blade directors.

Usage StyleThese equipments are used in Ø9 mm hole. Blade director is mounted inside the duct. Equipment placed at the hole and when meets with the blade fixed in the hole by hammer. Mounting will be done quickly.

The hanger bands (GPB) of ETK are designed to hang the ventilation ducts, cable ducts and other materials. THe hanger bands, which present quick and economical method, can be easily cutted and fixed.GBP hanger bands are made from galvanised steel.
